Have you ever noticed how things happen that we have no control over and some people throw tantrums like children over them? I was raised to believe everything happens for a reason. Rain falls from the sky to water the flowers, signs stop us so other traffic my go, and you have to go to school to learn. But have really thought why? “All things happen for a reason!” In the bible there are many examples of this. Take for instant Abraham in Genesis 22. He was going to sacrifice his son for the Lord. Had the alter ready. Had the wood piled up. Fire ready. He was obedient just like we are when we follow traffic signals. God rewarded his obedience. Not only was Isaac not sacrificed, God provided the sacrifice, a ram in a bush for him. What a reward for believing everything happens for a reason. Or think about Job. Job was a great man, had everything going for him. And in a twinkle of an eye Satan took it all away. He was upset for a while even felt like giving up. God allowed this to happen to prove that all things happen for a reason. God proved Satan wrong and for Job’s obedience God restored him giving him all he lost and more. We may not understand the reasoning for things at first but after we see the out come it all makes sense. God places trials in our lives to make us stronger. The outcome is what we make it. Next time you question why think on this……………God does things for a reason, just trust him and hold on because life is a bumpy ride.
Heres a poem my mother sent me to share........
**************
IF I COULD, I'D GIVE YOU
MY EYES JUST FOR A MOMENT TO
SEE YOU AS I DO!!
THEN MAYBE YOU WOULD SEE FOR YOURSELF
THIS BEAUTIFUL PERSON WHO MATTERS SO
MUCH TO ALL WHO HAVE THE PRIVILEGE
OF SHARING HER LIFE!
My mother sent this too me at a very low point in my life! I hope you pass it on to others who may need a pick me up!!
Here are some other things I would like to share:)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Step by step,
prayer by prayer,
the Lord will
always get
you there.
~~~~~~~~~
There is no
road to hard
when we walk
by his side.

Where there is peace, God is.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
LET GO & LET GOD
As children bring their broken toys,
with tears for us to mend,
I brought my broken dreams to God,
because he is my freind.
But then instead of leaving Him
in peace to work alone,
I hug around and tried to help,
with ways that were my own.
At last, I snatched them back again
and cried,"How can you be so slow?"
"My child" He said,"What could I do?
You never did let go."
~~~~~~~~~~~~
MY PRAYER FOR TODAY
Lord help me to be kind and sweet,
Help me to think before I speak.
Help me to realize each day
I represent You in what I say.
Others are watching what I do,
Where I go, and what I read too-
So help me please, dear Lord I pray
To keep these things in mind each day.

One day a 6 year old girl was sitting in her class at school. The teacher was going to explain evolution to the children. The teacher asked a little boy.........
Teacher- Tommy do you see the tree outside?
Tommy- Yes.
Teacher-Tommy do you see the grass outside?
Tommy- Yes.
Teacher- Go outside and see if you can see the sky.
So little Tommy walked outside and looked up at the sky then went back to his classroom.
Teacher- Did you see God Tommy?
Tommy- No.
Teacher- That is my point you can not see God because he was not there.
A little girl named Sarah asked the teacher if she could asked Tommy some questions too, The Teacher agreed.
Sarah- Tommy do you see the tree outside?
Tommy- Yes.
Sarah- Do you see the grass outside?
Tommy- Yessssssss. (Tommy as you can see is getting tired with all the questions)
Sarah- Did you see the sky?
Tommy- Yesssss
Sarah- Can you see our Teacher?
Tommy- Yep.
Sarah- Can you see her brain?
Tommy- No.
Sarah- Does that mean she aint got one?
