Chapter Twenty Two, Final Chapter!

Madi pushed the button for the doorbell. When the door swung open a minute later, Brenda's jaw dropped. She rubbed her eyes and looked again.
"No way!" She exclaimed. "No- way." Madilynn smiled as she leaned lovingly against Taylor.
"You busy?" Madilynn asked.
"No! Come in. This is crazy!" She stepped out of the doorway to let Madi and Taylor inside. "I cna't believe this!" She led them into the living room. "Please. sit." She seated herself on the large couch while Taylor and Madilynn sat on the love seat across from Brenda. At first she just gaped. "This is crazy! Okay." She covered her face with her hands for a second, and took a deep breath. "Okay. Wow. Taylor, great to see you again. Never in my wildest dreams did I expect you to be sitting in my house." She grinned at a smiling Taylor and Madilynn. "So- how?" She looked at Madi for an explination. All Madi did was stick out her left hand. As the diamond flashed, Brenda jumped up and grabbed Madi in a hard hug. "No way! You and-" as Brenda pointed to Taylor, Madi nodded. "Oh my god oh my god NO WAY! I'm so happy for you! And jealous. When's the date?" Sitting down, Brenda tried to calm her nerves.
"June seventh." Taylor answered, feeling her energy, and glad that someone was truly happy for them today.
"That is amazing. Congratulations!"
"Thanks Brenda. But we have to keep going. I just wanted to stop by and let you know that I'll be needing your help with the wedding and all."
"Oh really? Me?" Madi nodded. "Oh thank you, Madi."
"I'm glad you're excited. I'll call you later about everything."
"Awesome." As they went to the door, Brenda gave Madi and then Taylor a hug. "Just think, Hanson at your wedding!" She told Madi.
"Isn't it great?" She kissed Taylor on his cheek. He still hadn't stopped smiling.
"And to party with them afterwards, man it's going to be great!"
"I know! But I'll call you, okay?"
"Great. Where are you guys going now?"
"Back to Tulsa."
