The Mystery Trip: Chapter Five
They arrived at the slopes and got their ski's.
Before they all went out, and went skiing, they decided to discuss when and
where they are going to meet for lunch if they got seperated on the slopes.
"You guys, it's ten o'clock now, so let's meet here at twelve to eat lunch."
said Julia. Everyone agreed.
"Who should I be signing up for ski lessons?" asked Marshal. Jennifer,
Tim, Megan and Katie raised their hands. "Okay, let's go find the lesson
place and we will all see you guys later." he said.
"C ya!" everyone said.
The rest got their ski boots on, went outside to get their ski's and started
to ski. Marshal soon joined them.
After they got off the lift, everyone decided to go the same way. But, soon
enough, everyone got separated.
Julia was the first one on her way. All of a sudden she couldn't stop and
she flipped over. Everyone passed her.
"Thanks you guys!" she yelled.
"No problem!" Marshal yelled back.
When she was trying to get up, she saw this tall guy stopping to help her.
"You need some help?" he asked.
"Sure." she said.
He gave out his hand and she grabbed a hold of it. He helped her get up.
Now she was just trying to get back on her ski's.
"Thanks." she said.
"No problem." he said with a smile.
"Wait a minute. I know you! Your the guy I ran into at the gym this
morning." she said.
"Oh yeah. I remember. My name is Kevin. And yours?"
"Julia."
"Nice to meet you."
"Same here."
"Say, you want to grab lunch together?" he asked.
"Sure...oh, but I'm meeting my friends.." she stopped to look at her watch.
"In one half hour."
"Well, may I join you?"
"Sure! I will introduce you to everyone."
"Sounds good. Are you ready to go skiing?"
"Sure am." she said, while putting on her gloves.
"Okay, let's go." Kevin said, putting on his goggles.
They went the rest of the way down the hill.
They reached the lift and she saw Marshal, Matt, and Ben.
"Hey you guys!!" she yelled waving her hand. They waved back and skiied to
her.
"Hey Julia. Who's your friend?" asked Matt.
"This is Kevin."
"Hey, what's up?" Kevin said.
"He will be joining us for lunch." she said.
"Sounds good." said Marshal.
"Hey, where is Mandi and Amanda?" she asked.
"Oh, they just went up." said Ben.
"Well that sounds good. Let's go." said Julia.
All the guys agreed and all five skiied the rest of the time before lunch.
When Julia and Kevin skiied the rest of their way down the mountain, they
waited for Marshal, Matt and Ben. They waited a couple minutes and there they
were.
"Wow! Time flew by fast! It's already time for lunch!" said Julia.
"Yeah, time sure did pass." said Ben.
"Well you guys go ahead and I will meet you in the lobby. I have to find my
friends and tell them I'm eating with you." said Kevin.
"Okay...see you in the lobby." Julia said and started to follow Marshal,
Matt and Ben to the lobby.
