“Oh Brian!” Tears began to stream down Sara’s face, again. This time, they
weren’t from laughing hysterically though, Brian had really touched her with
this.
“I had to wait for the right time!” Brian started, then laughed.
“I can’t believe you did this!” She said, and wrapped her arms around his
neck. Brian’s arms went around her waste. Sara didn’t move, she just stood in
Brian’s arms. She wished this moment would never pass. Brian let her linger in
his arms. She felt safe and secure there, and Brian felt comfortable holding
her close.
“Brian?” She pulled her head, so she was facing him.
“Hmm?” He asked.
“I don’t think I’ve ever felt like this.. not towards anyone.” She confessed.
“I think,” she paused, “I think I’m falling in love with you.” She paused
again. “Brian, I lo..love you.” She stuttered while saying this but then said
it again clearly. “I love you Brian.”
“I love you too Sara.” Brian said, took his hand, and pulled her chin into
his. This kiss was more passionate than any others they had ever shared. The
whole world seemed to pause, and that moment between them lasted forever.
The sun had completely gone down, and they were still holding eachother. The
stars above twinkled and Sara smiled.
“Sara, it’s getting late.” Brian said. “And cold.” He felt her shiver in his
arms.
“I know.” She giggled.
“We should go.”
“I know, but this moment seems so perfect.” Sara said, sighing, and Brian took
her hand. They walked over the dirt, to Brian’s car. Brian opened the door for
Sara, like a gentleman then ran around to the other side.
“Always a gentleman.” She said when he sat in his seat.
“I try.” Brian said back. Sara just leaned her head back against the seat. She
turned to face Brian and just starred at him. Brian looked over and smiled,
then focused back on the road.
When they got to Brian’s place, they found a note on the kitchen table from
AJ and Jenni. It read:
Hey you two lovebirds! Hope it all worked out! If you’re both here though,
everything’s probably fine! Well, aren’t you two home a little late! J/P We
left at about 8:45 to see a 9:30 showing of “Hope Floats” at the Cinema Cafe
on Main Street. We’ll probably be back late, cuz we might go out after that!
LATA!
AJ and Jenni
“Wow, it’s already 9:45.” Brian said after looking at the microwave to see
what time it was.
“Really, that late. I should call my mom.” Sara said without thinking. “Oh
yeah! She’s not home! Oops!” Sara laughed at herself. Brian laughed also.
“No parents home, eh?” Brian teased.
“Nope!” Sara played along.
“Well, I guess you’ll just have to stay the night again! I mean, you can’t go
home to an empty house at this time of night!” Brian said with a grin.
“I guess you’re right! No one to protect me!” Sara flirted back with Brian.
She was having so much fun.
Brian wrapped his arms around her waste. He then picked her up, and pulled
her over his shoulders. Sara’s legs began to kick and she began to scream.
“BRIAN PUT ME DOWN!!!” Brian didn’t listen. He just continued carrying her
and brought her up the stairs. Sara kept kicking and screaming. Her legs
kicking almost caused Brian to fall down the stairs. He stumbled.
“Whoa!” He said. Then regained his balance. The stumbled startled Sara and she
screamed louder in fear of falling. “CHILL OUT SARA! I’ve got you!” Brian
said, trying to calm her.
“PLEASE PUT ME DOWN!” They finally reached the top of the stairs, but Brian
still didn’t put her down.
“Nope.”
“PLEASE, BRI, I’M BEGGING YOU, YOU’RE SCARIN’ ME!” Sara said, practically
laughing. “PUT ME DOWN! I’m warning you!” She continued.
“Oh, and what you gonna do?
“I dunno yet, but I’ll think of something.” She tried to threaten him. Brian
walked into his room and practically body-slammed Sara on his bed.
“OUCH!” She cried out.
“I’m sorry! I’ve been a bad boy, uh oh!”
“Yes you have!” Sara, who was sitting on Brian’s bed, grinned at Brian who was
standing right in front of her. Brian moved closer, and came down toward her
face. He put one hand down on one side of her. Sara quickly got up before he
could put the other one down. She laughed and ran over to the door, which was
shut.
“Oh no!” She cried as Brian came toward her. She ran in the other direction of
Brian. Brian laughed. Then followed her. She ran back over to his bed, but to
the other side. Brian came on the opposite side and face her. They just stood
there, trying to psych eachother out with fake moves, but they both stayed put
“You’re gonna get it Brian!”
“Oh oh, I’m scared!” Brian said sarcastically.
“You better be!!” Sara got up on the bed and jumped toward him. A big THUMP
came about; Brian fell to the ground, and Sara landed on top of him. She
situated herself so she was sitting strandled on his stomach.
“It’s my turn now!” She said, an evil grin coming about her face. Brian had no
idea what she was talking about. Sara’s hands began fiercely running across
his chest.
“AH! NO!” Brian cried out.
“HAHAHAHA!” Sara laughed as she tickled Brian harder.
“Okay Sara, you’ve gotten your revenge! I think I’m worse at being tickled
then you are!”
“Oh no Mister, you put me through torture!”
“NO!!” Brian kept yelling through his laughs. Sara was getting a kic out
herself. She paused for a moment.
“Should I stop?”
“YES!” Brian pleaded. Sara answered her own question at the same time.
“No!” She started to tickle him more. Brian’s hands tried to grab hers. She
grabbed his hands, and pinned them down on each side of him. She leaned ehr
face close to his, without touching his.
“Should I stop?” She asked in a whisper. Brian thought and then said back
quietly.
“No.” He then pulled his face all the way up to hers. He kissed her
completely. Sara was a bit suprised and let Brian’s hands go loosely. Brian
quickly overturned himself, so he now pinned Sara to the ground. He was about
to kiss her again, when they heard something.
There was a knock on the door. It got louder and the handle turned. It
opened.
