Sara didn’t push Brian away. She leaned backward against a big rock, and
pulled Brian over to her. Brian’s lips brushed across her, from her lips to
her neck. Her hands rushed around his back, then they changed direction and
rubbed across his chest.
The two of them didn’t think anyone could see them, until they heard a few
giggles coming from two little girls standing on a lower rock, starring and
pointing at him. Brian and Sara both pulled away from eachother. Sara blushed,
while Brian laughed and looked down to the ground. Sara looked at the two
little girls . They looked as if they couldn’t be older than 7. The girls
continued pointing ang giggling.
Two disturbed looking mothers rushed their way.
“There you two are! We’ve been worried sick!” One of the mothers called and
took one of the girls’ hands. The other mother grabbed the other child’s hand.
“We’re sorry if these two bothered you in any way. They ran off on us so
easily almost twenty minutes ago. They’re little stinkers, I’ll tell you.” The
other mother said. The two little girls snickered.
“Oh, no, they didn’t bother us at all.” Sara said, trying to hold back the
laugh that was forming in side of her. She beard Brian snicker behind her. She
bent her elbow back and pushed it into his stomach to get him to shut up.
“Ow.” He quietly whispered behind her. She tried not to laugh again.
“Okay, well we’re sorry for thr trouble. Come on.” One of the mothers said and
turned around with the children and other mother following. As they walked
away, Sara heard the children being lectured by their mothers; she felt bad.
Yet, at the same time she had to burst out laughing.
“I’m sorry.” She said to Brian apologetically.
“Damn girl, trying to beat me up already!” He teased, sounding as if she
really hurt him.
“Yeah,” she said, “so watch out!” They both laughed at the phoney warning.
“And what if I don’t?” Brian asked.
“Then you’ll just have to get hurt!” Sara replied and tried punch him again.
Brian was too quick for her this time.He caught her arm and held it tightly.
“Okay, very funny! Let go now.” She said, twisting back and forth, trying to
break free from Brian’s grip. Brian didn’t budge though. He didn’t even move
when she tried to pull her arm away. She moved, and pulled with all her might;
but it didn’t get her very far, she back right up into the big rock.
“Uh oh.” She said, turning behind her to see she was stuck against the rock,
with no way out. Brian kept silent, still hold her arm. She tried to push him
with the other arm, but Brian got a hold of that one too. A smile spread
across his face.
“Brian! Come on! You got me okay!”
“Do I?” He asked, a crazy expression came over his face.
“YES!” She said. Brian pressed against her, and pushed her against the rock.
Sara smiled, thinking he was going to kiss her. But he didn’t. His hands moved
to her stomach, and ran across it rapidly.
“Aahh!! STOP!” Sara yelled, between giggles and gapping for air. “Brian, stop
tickling me!”
“Nope!”
“Yes!” He tickled her more. Sara squirmed against the rock, but couldn’t get
Brian to stop. “Brian I’m warning you, stop!”
“Oh, you’re warning me?” He laughed and tickled her even harder then before.
She continued squirming against the rock. She was laughing so hard. Between
the laughing, the squirming, and the grasping for air, tears began streaming
down her face.
“Stop!” She kept crying, laughing hysterically. “It’s killing me!”
“Okay okay, I’m done!” Brian said, he literally fell to the ground laughing at
her. Sara brushed away the water that had been streaming down her face. She
laughed at herself.
“I told you to stop!”
“I know, but I couldn’t, it was, it was just too tempting! And then the tears,
oh they were th best part!” He kept laughing.
“Gee thanks! It’s great to know you care!” Sara said sarcastically.
“I’m sorry! I really am, but you looked so cute!”
“I tend to often!” She said, again in her sarcastic tone.
“Oh, Sara you’re not mad are you?” Brian said, with his adorbale duck face
washing over his face.
“Oh sure! Use that face! Who could be mad at the duck face?!” She joked, then
reached over to give him a quick kiss. Brian reached his hand out.
“You missed one.” And he brushed her cheek, where another tear was sitting.
“Thanks.” She laughed.
They sat against the rock and starred down onto the beach together. Sara’s
head fell to Brian’s shoulders and one of Brian’s arms craddled around her
shoulders. The sun began to fall and they watched it set together.
“It’s so beautiful.” Sara said, gazing into the sun, in which she refered to.
“I know.” Brian said, gazing upon her.
“How would you know, you’re not even looking!” She joked.
“Sure I am.”
“Not at the sun.”
“I know that!” Sara blushed. “Aww... how cute, she blushed.” Brian said,
smiling. Sara’s shade turned even more red.
“Stop or I’m gonna look like a cherry!”
“Oh, but I like cherries!!” Brian joked. Sara laughed. They sat together
resting upon eachother and the rock.
“Oh my god!” Brian called out, and pulled away from Sara.
“What? What’s wrong?” Sara sounded worried.
“I can’t believe I forgot!” Brian yelled. Sara had no idea what he was talking
about. “Stand up.” Brian said, taking her hand and pulling Sara to her feet.
“What? Why?” She said when she was already standing. Brian reached out and his
hands across her face and smiled.
“Okay, well, ya know what I forgot to do?”
“What already!?!? You’re making me nervous!”
“Well,” He took her hand in his, “I forgot to officially ask you out!” A
smile spread across his face, and he reached into his pocket. He pulled out a
shiney, silver ring, with a heart in the center of it.
“Oh Brian,” Sara started, but Brian wasn’t finished yet, he bent down.
“Sara, I don’t know your middle name, Martin, will you be my girlfriend?”
Brian said, down on one knee, and placed the ring on her ring finger. Sara
felt a rush of tears coming on. She nodded; Brian laughed.
“Yes, I mean. YES!” She yelled out! Brian got up and hugged her.
“Look at the ring.” Brian said pulling away and pointed to the ring that he
had just put on Sara’s finger.
Sara took the ring off, and looked on the inside. She saw something ingrave
on it. She made it out to be:
“Sara and Brian - 4 ever”.
