Sara played with Brian’s hair some more. They talked about this and that. Sara looked out the window, it was a gloomy, rainy day.
“Too bad it’s raining out! We can’t do anything outside today!”
“Oh, that’s okay! Inside isn’t so bad!” Brian said grinning.
“Oh you, you’re quite the funny one!” She said in a mature voice.
“Oh, I know!” Brian imitated her voice! She reached her hand back and grabbed a pillow, then shoved it in his face. She laughed.
“Oh, so ya wanna fight, huh?!” Brian shoved it back at her. Then grabbed the pillow beside him.
They continued hitting each other, then stood up and hit eachother on his bed. Brian whipped the pillow into Sara’s stomach. She fell to the bed laughing hysterically. Brian fell beside her.
“What’s so funny?” He asked.
“I dunno! It’s just every time I’m with you, we’re always crazy! I have so much fun!”
“That’s good! I don’t want to bore you or anything.”
“You could never do that!” Brian smiled.
“I’m kinda hungry, how about you?”
“Yeah, starved.”
“Okay, let’s get something to eat.” Brian said. Sara started to get up, but Brian wouldn’t let her. He picked her up, and carried her down the stairs. “Brian!” She said as they were walking down.
“Good morning you two!” AJ said. He was eating a bowl of Cap’n Crunch and Jenni was eating a bagel.
“Good morning!” Brian said cheerfully. He set Sara down in front of the table.
“Good morning.” She said to AJ and Jenni. Then sat down next to Jenni.
“What were you two just up to? We heard a lot of noise coming from your room!” AJ said in a teasing, but curious voice.
“Oh!” Sara giggled. “We were having a pillow fight!” She and Brian both laughed.
“Sure ya were!” AJ said, “Just kiddin’!”
Brian and Jenni both chose to each Cap’n Crunch, also. They all sat down together.
“Oh yeah, Bri, Kev called. He said he might be stopping by later today.” AJ said.
“Cool. Haven’t talked to him in a while!”
“Yeah I know, I wonder what he’s been up to!”
“Okay, I know I speak for Sara and myself, when I say, who’s Kev?” Jenni said. Sara nodded with a confused look on her face.
“Oh, that’s Brian’s cuz.”
“Oh.” Sara and Jenni said simultaneously.
AJ and Jenni finished their breakfast and went to the living room to see what was on tv.
“So, what do ya wanna do today?”
“I dunno. I should probably go home to check the answering machine, change, and wait to see if my parents call.” Sara said.
“Oh.” Brian frowned. “Do you really have to go?” He didn’t want her to leave.
“Yeah.” Sara said, smiling. “But that doesn’t mean you can’t come with me!”
A smile came over Brian’s face.
“Okay, good! I’ll go change.” He said, and got up. Sara walked into the living room to see Jenni and AJ.
“Hey guys.”
“Hey!” AJ and Jenni were both cuddled up close to eachother on the couch. AJ had the remote and was channel surfing. Sara thought to herself about how cute they were together.
Brian, then, came down the stairs. Sara smiled. He looked good. He was wearing a gray TOMMY shirt and TOMMY jeans.
“Why you all dressed up?” AJ asked.
“Dressed up?” Brian said confused.
“I was just kidding. Where ya going?”
“To Sara’s.”
“Oh. Weird. You’re going to her house, you’re dressed, and she’s not!” AJ laughed. Sara looked down, she was still in Brian’s t-shirt.
“Oh yeah!” She said. “Bri, I’m gonna go up and change.” She walked passed him on the stairs and gave him a quick kiss, then went up. Brian finished coming down the stairs and sat down in the chair, smiling.
“Oh g’s!” AJ said.
“Huh?” Brian asked.
“You! You’re just funny!”
“Oh okay!”
“You’re so quiet, how come?” AJ asked Jenni.
“Oh, sorry, I was watching the tv.”
“Old I Dream Of Jeanie re-runs! Fun!” AJ teased.
“Hey, I use to love this show!”
“Okay, okay, I was just teasing you! You’re so cute when you get defensive!” AJ teased her again.
“Ha-ha!” She said, and kissed him, to get him to shut-up.
“I’ll leave you two alone!” Brian said quickly. AJ pulled away from Jenni and threw a couch pillow at Brian as he walked up the stairs to get Sara. Brian threw it back, and hit Jenni in the head.
“Oops! My bad, sorry!” He laughed. Jenni and AJ both laughed. “I’ve got terrible aim today!” He said, going up the stairs.
He found Sara sitting on his bed, folding up the t-shirt she just wore.
“You don’t have to do that.” He said. Sara looked up.
“You scared me!”
“I’m sorry!”
“It’s okay. Ready to go?”
“Yep.” They went down stairs, said good-bye to AJ and Jenni, and drove to Sara’s house, in Sara’s Viper.
When they got there, Sara had two messages on her machine.
“Sara, Jenni, this is Jenni’s mom calling. It’s kind of late, but I guess you girls are still out dancing, call me when you get home. Love ya.” Was the first message, from Jenni’s mom. The second message then came on.
“Sara? Honey, are you there? This is your Aunt Sue calling to make sure you’re okay. Where are you? Well, call me when you get home, please.”
Sara picked up the phone and called her aunt to say she was okay. Then she called Jenni, at Brian and AJ’s.
“Hey AJ, can I talk to Jenni?”
“Sure.”
“Hello?” Jenni asked.
“Hey Jen, you’re mom called last night! You’d better call her! Tell her we were out late and we were tired so you didn’t call her right away last night when we got home from dancing!”
“Okay, thanks! Bye!”
“Bye!”
Sara hung up the phone. Brian was just standing in the doorway. “You can come in!” She teased. She walked over to him and pulled him over the her couch, and sat down, then kissed him.
