J&M Model Craftsmen is a full time Model Building Service. The Father and Son team of Jim and Matt Short have a total of 40 years experience in model building and design.
Jim is a retired Journeyman Patternmaker/Modelmaker and Matt is a CAD Designer. Jim provides the construction and covering of the models while Matt is in charge of the painting, glassing and operating the CAD programs for our hardware.
Even though we are one of Carden’s recommended building services, we also do Warbirds and Scale projects. Our customers needs range from in the “Bones”, “Turnkey”, “Scratch Built” or from “Kit”.
