SRS 2005/2006 Rule's And Guidelines

The Supermodified Racing Series is a brand new league, Frank Ferry Jr. is the league director. Chris Meyers is the Asst. League director. We feel it was time to form a league that gives the drivers and fans a chance to see what a supermodified is like in a game. We hope you enjoy this season, but we are going to lay down some ground rules you should read and race by. For everyone who can't make weekly shows but who want to race SUPERMODIFIEDS, please check out another league Chris Meyers runs in. http://www.suprs.net -home of the ultimate Sim Race Car. A great group of guys run in the league and its a great family atmosphere.

1. All racers are to be on Teamspeak for the drivers meeting 15 minutes prior to the race. If you are late to the drivers meeting you will lose your show-up points. Please let us know if you can not make the drivers meeting. Drivers meeting will last approximately 15 minutes

2. Our races will be run in setup mode. In hotlaps give each other room. Space it out so everyone can get the feel for their car to make the necessary changes. .

3.

4. If the leaders are coming. Move to the inside of the track and hold your line. Do not try to pass the car in front of you. Anyone taking advantage of passing another car while the move over flag is out will be docked a position for each infraction. p>

5. The schedule for the night will consist of 30 minute hot lap session, qualifying, a lap Heat and a feature. Hot lap sessions will be divided up by how many cars we get. If there are more than 20 cars entered for the event, we will go to a 3 heat format. We will have a B-Main if necessary with no more than 24 cars advancing into the Feature.

6. No degrading, offensive, or slanderous comments will be tolerated in the league. Joking around is alright to an extent. If you are involved in a wreck please save your replay and we will deal with it in an orderly manner after the post race interviews. If you have a problem or complaint that you feel needs to be address please do not hesitate to talk to an SRS Official after the race.

7. After the races, SRS Officials will review the races from the night. If retaliatory driving or intentional bumping or wrecking is seen, the parties will be dealt with accordingly. Infractions or fines will be posted weekly. These are supermodified's, not stockcars.

8. We here at SRS want everyone to race, but if you are on a slower connection and we feel you are causing warp, we will have to remove you from the event. Higher connections are recommended.

9. All drivers must have a working email or screenname on AIM or Yahoo.

10. Competitor's must have their cars TGA's to Frank Ferryby 10:00pm the night before the event.

11. All drivers must download the carset, I don't want to hear people complaining that they see red cars, If they do Oh well. So please download the carset. We will try to have it up when we get all the car's in.

12. Our features are going to be 38laps, but we are only going to race 36 of them. The first lap I would like to do what SUPRS does and line everyone up, depending on where they qualified for the Heat Race. So when the green starts don't hammer it, just coast to a stop. Inside cars go low and high cars go high. Leave the middle open for cars to get lined up.this way we all stop at about the same time. So once we get figured out will parade lap and take the green with 36 to go. I'll explain more in the driver's meeting.

13. LET THE GOOD TIME's Roll! Remember it's only a game, lets just go out and have a great race and have fun doing it.
