I struggle
deep inside,
my
strength is almost gone
To honor
your life of loving me,
my mind is
in despair, I wake every morning,
just
praying you are there.
Emptiness
consumes me, my heart is overweight
The
partnership once solid,
now
just one mate
I reach out
to emptiness to feel
you lying
near
Knowing
that no day ahead will
ever
be as dear.
I find you
in my memories,
as vivid as
that day
When you
first came to me in
your
very special way
But now I
sit alone and cry,
knowing you
are gone
For never
will I share with you another living dawn
Someday I
will sit with you and all
the pain
will flee
And there
will be an "US" again,
not
just you and me
I wish it
were tomorrow so the
pain
could fade away
And we
could love together for every future day.
