What two of my HS teachers think of me

(I was going to apply to be in the honors program at EMU and I needed two recommendations from high school so I asked my english teacher and my government teacher to write me the recommendations. Time passed and I never sent in the application so I opened the envelopes that they put my recommendations in and I read what they said about me. Here they are)

From Ms. Brandi M. Delph (government teacher)

Aaron has been my student for nearly 2 years. He is currently in American Government. Last year he was in AP US History. He has excelled in both. His test scores are high, often exceeding 100%. His essays are thoughtful + imaginative. Unfortunatly, Aaron can not spell. This is his greatest weakness as a student. However, his strengths compensate. His writing is clear + concise. He has demonstrated a gentle sense of humor + strong morals. Although he is not part of the "in" crowd, he still has the respect and good will of his peers.
Aaron is both an excellent student and an excellent person. He would benefit greatly from this award + put it to its best possible use.

(Well, ain't that nice of her. But she had to talk about my spelling didn't she. I'm thoughtful + imaginative and clear + concise, yay for me!)

From Mrs. Joan Caudill-Cook (english teacher)

Aaron is a student in my A.P. English 12 class. He is an outstanding student. He is creative, clever, intellegent and artistic. His work is more thoughtful and philosophically deeper than the average high school student. I have been privileged to have Aaron in my class this year. I have not had him as a student in previous years but have known him by reputation. He is well-respected by other staff members in our district. I believe strongly that Aaron will be a very successful college student. He is somewhat shy, but is unafraid to participate in class discussions. He has a wonderful sence of humor. He is polite. He is motivated. I recommend him to you highly.

(Wow, I'm philosophically deep and I had a reputation in high school. And she didn't talk about my spelling, yay! It was really cool reading these. It's probably even better than getting into the honors program.)
