Dream Journal May 22, 2003

I was in a calculus classroom and it was just me and the teacher. She gave me a bunch of papers and I began to look through them, dividing them into what I needed and what I would throw away. Soon other students came in. They were talking about something but it didn’t seem very important. Then my old roommate came in, gave me a look and sat down one seat back and one to the left of me. Then Mike came in and sat by me to my right and then class started. The teacher began her lecture and my old roommate raised his hand. I don’t know if the teacher asked him a question or not but he went on this long speech about what calculus is and why it’s important with all these big words and shit. He didn’t sound like he knew what the hell he was talking about but I sounded proud of himself and gave me looks while he talked like he was showing me up or something. So after about 3 minutes of his crap he shut up. Then Mike raised his hand. Looking at a review worksheet, he asked the bastard, “Do you know the answer to number 21?” He said, “No.” And Mike asked, “Do you know the answer to number 7?” He said, “No.” So Mike said, “Then why the hell did we just listen to you say all that crap?” Then I wake up with a smile on my face.
