The train it pulled out slowly from Arona...
With the mountains rising high on either side...
And he watched her as she stared
Out through the window...
And once again got lost inside her eyes
Now the years had been quite gracious
In their passing...
Quiet lines they etched the edges of her smile...
And it amazed him how some feelings
Just keep lasting...
Reaching out across the years, across the miles...

		It's been twenty years since midnights in Hermosa...
		When two lovers lost themselves in Spanish Nights...
		You could look forever for that angle of repose...
		And like this train...so it goes...

She closed her eyes and let her mind just wander...
He watched her as she gave herself to sleep...
And he thought of all those hearts that
Just go under...
And others that won't venture in too deep
And how some love can even weather silence...
And how some have no reason, have no rhyme...
But you never really sure just where
You'll find it...
Let alone get a chance a second time...
