Merry Meet. Welcome to our site. Let me tell you about our coven.
I am High Priest Aroww and this is my coven. We are an coven that prides ourselves on nature. We follow a fairly secretive tradition, but those covens who follow our ways usually stick to a more eclectic way. We have a fairly large amount of members, but welcome those who wish to join and devote themselves to the Craft; by our ways. This coven is known as the coven of the solitaries, for most of the work and Craft that we preform is solitary Craft work. Why, you may ask, have a coven that is one for the solitaries? We say why not?
I have been praticing as solitary for a while now and I have always thought that other solitaries who need a place to "be", can be in our coven. [To see samples of our solitary Craft see the link entitled Our SpellCraft for Solitaries.]
We practice the way that most covens do except we pratice more in nature and wildlife; as well as, we don't believe that you must be in a coven to practice magick, for some covens believe this way. We also do not often provide self dedications. We believe that the "student" needs to write it themselves as a part of connecting with the God and Goddess. We also believe as Phoenix NightWolf said, "Everyone must practice Wicca in their own way, with their own twist, with their own untiting with the Goddess and God."
Our coven is very easy to learn from since we allow and encourage the use of Wicca books by such authors as Silver RavenWolf, Scott Cunningham, and Raymond Buckland. We also have, in the works, a publication on our teachings; this will be written by me and an introduction by our fellow Priestess, Lady Rune. [For information on her and the rest of the coven see the link.] We stress the elements very strongly, and the aspects of the Goddess (Maiden, Mother, Crone) and God (Son, Father, Sage). We are very passionate about our belifs and we wish all to be happy beings. If you are new to the Craft, we welcome you. We are glad to see your intrest in our coven and that of Wicca.
