Spirit

By Shadow Silencer

I walked upon the haven once.
Redwall they called it.
A place of bright and happy times,
with songs, stories, poems, rhymes.
I ate the fruit. The food. The kidness.
I had no clue with all my blindness,
I would never see the day,
never feel the soft warm hay,
never see the one I loved,
I hoped I'd see above.
When my spirit rose,
I saw the haven. Redwall.
