Got to take this one out I have been told access has been cut off by a bar of sand or mud draft over the bar is 10 or 18 inches. Pungo Ferry Highway Bridge is just 250 yd. ahead. The anchorage is to starboard in front of the ski ramp. The depth is around 10 ft. (tide approx. 1 ft.). The bottom is mud and good holding, but because of the water sports which are popular here, this is not a good anchorage for more than just over night. Below the bridge is a small area after red marker "42" where you can stay during daylight hours. Anchor on the east side. You may want to set a second hook to stop your swing into the main channel.
