Who Is This Woman?
Who is this woman?
Standing before God,
Trying to make a difference
To a few hearts along the way.
Who is this woman?
Who cries at night
When no ones looking.
What contribution can she make?
I’ve seen this woman.
The expectant mother
praying for the health of her child.
The new mother praying to God
For the wisdom and the strength
To go another day on three hours sleep.
The old mother praying
For the soul of her lost child.
And the woman who
Will never be a mother,
Just praying for answers.
This woman is a sister, a wife,
A mother, and a friend.
A prayer warrior,
A Sunday School teacher,
A cook,
A counselor,
But most of all
She is just a woman
Called by God.
To help and
To encourage.
Who is this woman?
She is a child of God.
And her children will
Arise and call her blessed.
