Mission Statement
First and foremost, the mission of this website is to share the Word of God with the world.
I must confess, the name of this website is not an original idea. I was walking through the campus of Miami University in Oxford, Ohio when I saw a sign with these words: "Silence Is Acceptance: Speak Loudly!" To the person who made that sign, thank you very much for the idea (P.S. Please don't sue!).
As I saw that sign I began to think of the Church today. We are daily bombarded with the notion that we must be "tolerant" of other's veiws and beliefs. This sounds fine on the surface. It sounds like just "loving one another" or respecting each other. All views are "tolerated"... unless you bring up Jesus Christ. What they are really saying is, "You must not force your ideas on anyone. You must not force your 'religion' on anyone. And if you can't keep from doing that, then you must keep silent!"
The children of God have kept silent for too long. We have kept silent as prayer has been taken from our schools. We have kept silent as things like abortion and homosexuality have overrun our society, our entertainment, even our churches. Worst of all, we have kept silent as the world has forgotten that Jesus Christ is the only true way to get to Heaven, and the only true hope for our world.
OUR SILENCE IS ACCEPTANCE!
Satan would have us be silent. He would have us condone these things by our inactivity... and we do.
So, the mission of this website is to give the children of God a voice, to let the Word of God be heard by anyone who will listen, and to let the world know that we will not keep silent anymore.
