Chapter 1 : Chapter 2 : Chapter 3 The Story
After succumbing to the dark chaos of her father's blood and taking evil and desire for power to new heights, Blade and her husband steal the rare but very valuable rune of Immortality and made their way to the center of the impossible Maze of the Gods. Yet before Blade could carry out her intentions to enter the Hall, she was stopped and destroyed by Maudlynn's most powerful water and ice dragons. Infuriated by this tragic turn of events, Psythe makes the treachurous journey to the underworld to find his wife's spirit. Using the immortality rune and his powerful psychic mind, Psythe empowers his link with his wife and intertwines their souls for the eternity of the rune. Now reunited, Blade and Psythe take over the underworld and with their established rule Blade unleashes her fury and declares war with the mortal realm. With an army of the dead and undead, that only grows stronger with every mortal's death, things don't appear too promising for the overworld...
Time is short, the end grows near...
Characters & Gaurdians
Each character of NDN is designed by their prospective players and all have their own history, innate skills and guardians. A Gaurdian is an angel, demon or spirit, that can come in various forms, that are given by the gods to those in need of them. Any character can have a limit of up to two guardians. Every individual character has their own strengths and weaknesses, and many are masters of magic or hand-to-hand combat. Every story is different, as are the personalities, traits and appearance that make that character strong in their individuality.
Magic, skills and guardians are further explained in the magic section of this site.
The World
From the cities to the deserts, the entire world of NDN is a whole new place where dreams and fantasies are born. What first began as one small contintent soon expanded and developed into many places to live and explore. For visuals of cities or world maps go see the World page.
The Eastern Continent was the first place to exist. Ligiea being the capital, is the largest city on the eastern continent. Tamerlane the market town near the ocean, has almost anything you could ask for on sale, and hosts the world famous circus. Astoria the icy lycanthrope capital of the world, is one of the most dangerous territories, most particularly by the light of the full moon. The small desert town of Isadore is isolated and doesn't get much attention, but it is quiet and peaceful, the perfect place to relax. The hidden warrior town of Enigma is a villiage of treehouses, hidden by the canopy of the trees and by the confusion effect of the forest. The dangerous vampiric nation of Metzengerstein was once a thriving city nearly as large as Ligiea before it's inhabitants were nearly completely destroyed, the rest waiting in fear or having fled altogether, from the plague of vampires that surfaced from the mysterious Maze of Shadows.
The Central Continent is merely a small island but is the source of all trade between the eastern and western continents. Macellum to the east is home of the infamous Agents, the most incredible law enforcement in the world, holding a strict hold over the city. Scyphus to the west, doesn't have as well a legal system and is more often than not plagued with crime and much more dangerous than it's counterpart Macellum. Not much remains left to be seen of Exile, a now flooded city located north of the main island.
The Western Continent is more rugged than the openness of the eastern continent. Agyieus, Capital city of the western continent, is the second largest city in the world, next to Ligiea, but holds a more ominous and threatening air to it. Quatuor a port town with an attitude, it is the crime capital of the world home a large nest of criminals, cut-throats, pirates and other infamous people. The northern city of Azseroth is one of the most peaceful towns on this continent, but a common target of the forces of Agyieus. Vastitas located in the center of the largest desert in the world, a common place to sell and trade slaves. Dayo and Nitus are two tiny villiages located on the crescent shaped island to the south of the western continent, it is the home of two rival villiages nestled within opposite ends of the tropic island.
The Northern Continent, located just north of the eastern continent, is mountainous and trecherous, the location of the mythical lost city of sages Nevermore. Very few outsiders have seen the city and lived to tell about it. The city itself, although often searched for but never found, is believed to be only a legend.

11 HollowRaces
There are many different races of characters in the game, all from different origins and backgrounds but all have a major role in the world of NDN. Humans are the most dominate and obvious race, with the advantage of having no inherant weaknesses, giving the creator total free reign with strengths and weaknesses. The Vampire race is most often found in the city of Metzengerstein, where the Maze of Shadows and it's lord, the Vampire Master Zarre, reigns supreme. The Lycanthrope originating in the icy city of Astoria, and dependant on the climate's snow, is the werewolf race with the occassional Loup Garou (full blooded lycanthrope); this race is controlled by Arcades. There is only one known Felincanthrope (feline version of a lycanthrope) known in existance, and is a man-made race that so far cannot be copied beyond Kat Arcana. More detailed information will be provided later.
Religion
Religion is something that the Sages of Nevermore hold sacred, the gods being the source of all dragons and magic. Everyone has their own choice of religion, some choosing the gray path of Orion, or the darker magic of Sivitri, and even those who would choose the more chaotic ways of Mephistos. There are nine gods currently in existance... Orion, God of Judgement and Angels representing the True Neutral path. Sivitri, God of Shadows and Demons representing the Neutral Evil path. Raven Goddess of Psyche and Fantasy representing the Neutral Good path. Maudlynn, Goddess of Magic and Dragons representing the Lawful Good path. Mephistos, God of Chaos and Anarchy representing the Chaotic Neutral path. Ikite, Goddess of Earth and Sky representing the Lawful Neutral path. Siakin, God of War and Pain representing the Lawful Evil path. Jitara, Goddess of Evil and Torture representing the Chaotic Evil path. Kalef, God of Purity and Innocence representing the Chaotic Good path.BACK
