Background: Harlequin's mother was the mistress of a psychic sage from Nevermore for several years before her birth. Her father, one of the head sages, never knew anything about his daughter, the only proof of her parentage is the journal left by her mother, who died in childbirth, and given to Harlequin by her adoptive parents in Tamerlane. After living in Isadore for some time, Harlequin saved the life of a man accused of murder by marrying him and becoming his wife. Later on Harlequin came to love this man who was her husband and earned his love as well. Strengths: Ice and Shadow magic. Harlequin is physically weak but her mind rivals some of the best psychics in the world. Harlequin is very quick although she has trouble running for any kind of distances. Harlequin also has the power to make it snow, for as long and as hard as she wants it to. However, doing this trick effects her slight fire immunity she managed to build up. Weaknesses: Physical attacks. Running, Harlequin was born with a disorder that makes it difficult for her to breathe whenever she runs or becomes overly stressed out. Harlequin is also weak against fire magic but with the use of her fire rune, is less weak against it than a normal ice based person. Other: Harlequin is typically a psychic. She is a prophet, able have visions in dreams or by touching certain objects with her hands. If held on long enough with her bare hands, Harle eventually begins stealing memories. As insurance to keep her from doing this, Arcades locked silver cuffs around her wrists to prevent her from removing her gloves. She can also place herself in other people's minds to see through their eyes, however she rarely does this because it takes alot of personal energy. Harlequin is also a lover of smiles and will do nearly anything just to get someone to smile, the greater the challenge the funner it gets. Harlequin also likes to collect things, preferably precious stones and chrystals and has a pouch full of them on her hip. Runes Mastered Fire Mastered Ice Shadow Limit Skills I. Moon Trio - Harlequin creates two more cresent blades out of shadow and send all three flying at an enemy or enemies. II. Winter Freeze - Harlequin encases an enemy in snow and then freezes an icy shell around it to hold them inside the frozen death trap. III. Summer Freeze - Harlequin uses her fire rune to set an enemy on fire and then encases them in a frozen ice bubble, the fire and the melting ice create a boiling steam room, the enemy steams until they are unrecognizable, dead or until the ice is broken and they are released. This attack is devistating but does minor damage to Harlequin herself. IV. Diamond Whip - Harlequin creates a whip made out of liquid ice. Everything it touches becomes frozen and will shatter upon impact. V. Ice Scream - Large, sharp pieces of ice begin jutting out of the ground around or under and enemy, either trapping them or impaling them. Guardian Stats ARES and APHRODITE Ares and Aphrodite are both firebirds that can change sizes from a large bird or a small glowing spec. Ares is red and his attack, GOD OF WAR, can make friends hate eachother and begin fighting eachother to direct their attention away from Harlequin. Aphrodite is blue and her attack, GODDESS OF LOVE, can make even the worst enemies fall in love long enough to get their attention off of Harlequin. Both spells only last for a limited amount of time. |
