Appearance: Cheshire wears a dark blue robe with lighter, soft blue cotton trousers, the colors of his station as representative of the Lawful Good ethos within the Council of Nine. His green hair is one of his oddest features and falls just above the shoulders. His boots are made of sturdy leather dyed dark blue, the outer calves stamped with diamond within a triangle symbol of the Council. Around his neck, this same symbol is crafted from sapphire and turquise and suspended by an ivory and onyx linked chain.

Background: Cheshire is a third generation priest and, though his exact birthplace is unknown, grew up in Ligeia within a temple of Orion. Though strong of faith to the gods, it was not the Orion who he found solace in but the goddess of magic, Maudlynn. Studying her ways far from the watchful eyes of his father, he was soon more adept with the magical runes than any living being in Ligeia-even without ever actually handling one.

Strengths: Cheshire is a master of all magic and is adept with it in any form, but none better than dragon control itself. As Maudlynn's high priest he can bend the will of any dragon-living or dead-to obey his every command, though he never needs to, he was born with an innate charm that dragons find especially appealing. He is also exceptionally agile, nimble on his feet, quick, and can be brutal with his hammer.

Weaknesses: An overwhelming sense of fair play makes Cheshire susseptable to being taken advantage of in an otherwise unfair fight. He will neither attack, nor defend against, an unarmed opponent for fear of harming them in some way and can eaily be bested by the simplest brawler due to this glitch in his neutrality. This, however; only applies if they do not pick up something that can be wielded-even something as simple as a wine bottle-once a useable weapon is inhand, they become armed and thus subject to physical blows.
Other: Cheshire's weapon, the Dragonbone, is made up of a two foot long metal shaft, atop which is an unbreakable hammerhead that bears a blunt end, a long spike at the other, and a shorter spike between the two. It can be used in two ways: bludgeoning with the hammerhead, or tearing and piercing with either of the two spikes. The weapon itself is mythed to be older than the gods, forged by dragons from their own scales, and usable only by those who've come to be master or mistress of the dragons themselves.

Special Skills:

Pilots of Fantasy: this skill summons Cheshire's most powerful allies, any and all dragons within the range of his telepathic call. It's more a mobility tactic than an attack, and used to merely travel from one place to another-or from one time to another in the safety of the fleet.

Soul Crush: this skill is done by the Dragonbone. In a final blow, Cheshire will invoke the hammer's true power and instead of striking bodily, it will sear through the physical form of his opponent and strike their very soul.

Guardian Stats:

Cheshire doesn't have any one single guardian, his guardians are any and all dragons. He's never needed to bend their will like he can, they serve him with neither malice nor contempt and will come to his aid immediately if they feel he is threatened in any way.
