Situated in the frigid Polar Regions in the northeast, the Astorian Empire is nothing but mountains and snow. Governed by a royal family, it’s settled only by three cities, its capital, Astoria and two smaller towns. The nation’s mainstay is mining precious minerals and stones in the fertile mountains. It has long had a tense treaty with the neighboring lycanthropic kingdom of Mawhonic and has only recently been at peace with the ascension of the half-lycanthrope Arcades Vaevictis to the royal throne.

Astoria: The nation’s capital, Astoria is a bustling mining community and harbor. It is the center of commerce for the empire and home to the royal family as well as over half of the entire population. Silver, copper, diamonds and zinc are it’s main operations though other stones and minerals are not uncommon.
