The majority of humans have given up faith and worship of their gods. In his anger, Orion unleashes his wrath and gives Mephistos leave to wreak his havok wherever he pleases. In the midst of all this chaos, a new rise to evil power is born in the dark warlord Kantu.

Six years later, those few still in the favor of the gods begin having dreams and nightmares of a mysterious city and of the dark warlord who has held power for so many years. In their nightmares they see the massive destruction caused by the warlord and the future of their world if he is not stopped. In their dreams, they see the shadow of the woman bearing the mark of nevermore. Misfortunately, the warlord Kantu, has found out about her and now searches for the one who will bring together the chosen few and their guardians to put a stop to the reign of terror.
