The Coolest Kid Around

Matthew T.A.Conley 11-16-1989-01-06-2000

Matthew died suddenly at home. He came home from school with a head ache and flu symptoms.
A Few hours later he died while taking a bath.
We later found out that he died from streptococcus. From what we can understand is
that the streptococcus somehow got into his blood stream(blood poisioning). He then went into septic shock and his heart stopped.
Death is a hard thing to accept, and when your child dies a part of you dies with them.
You will gone on, but not as before,
because a part of you is gone.........
For those who knew Matty, you were blessed. For those who did not,
well i wished you could have...



I'll Lend You This Child


I'll lend you for a little time a child of mine,
He said.for you to love while he lives and mourn when he's gone.

It may be six or seven years or twenty-two or three,
But will you, 'til I call him back again, take care of him for Me?

He'll bring his charms to gladden you, and should his stay be brief,
You'll have his lovely memory as solace for your grief.

I cannot promise he will stay, since all things from earth return.
But there are lessens taught down here, I want this child to learn.
I've looked the wide world over in My search for teachers true.
And from the throngs that crowd life's lanes, I have selected you.

Now will you give him all your love, not think the labor vain,
Nor hate me when I come to call him home again.
I fancied that I heard them say, "Lord, Thy will be done.
For all the joy Thy child will bring, the risk of grief, we will run.
We'll shelter him with tenderness, we'll love him while we may,
and for the happiness we've known, forever grateful stay.

But should the angels call for him much sooner than we've planned,
We'll brave the bitter grief that comes and try to understand."

Matthew you are constantly on our minds
Everything we do we wish you were here with us
You left so soon, we were not ready for you to go
You are our special angel forever in our hearts
We love you and miss you so much
Be our guardian angel and until we meet with you again.

Matthew had many friend not one specific person
was his best friend, he couldn't choose
He asked me what he should do and I told him to follow his heart
So he says well then they will all be my best friends
He didn't want to disappoint anyone, but in his heart
he did feel they were all his best friends that is how he wanted it
Matthew was one of those kids that had a shy side to him,
but was also very outgoing, very funny he liked to tell jokes and
play pranks just to see if he could make you laugh
His imagination was so big, when he would tell a
story you had to laugh because it was so off the wall it couldn't be true
He would take chances, wasn't afraid of getting hurt,
especially when his friends were watching,(a bit of a show off)
He wasn't perfect, but he was a neat kid to know
He always had ideas, He had a creative side
But just like anyone else when things
didn'tgo his way he would have his fit
But when it came to school he took it very seriously,
he refused to miss school and seeing his friends
Matthew tried very hard and as difficult as it was for him to
concentrate he still gave it his all, education was important to him
Matthew was a people pleaser but it was honest all he ever wanted was for everyone to like him, he had more friends than he knew

Things Matt liked To Do

• Listening to music and Playing his Guitar
• Riding his bike&jumping ramps, playing playstation and 64
• Driving his gocart
• Playing with his brother&sister,cousins & friends
• Telling jokes,doing magic & card tricks,playing pranks on people
• play GI Joes and Barbies with Brooke and Ryan
• Loved all kinds of animals especially his two dogs shadow and damien and his hampster Wendy
• Mustangs,Dale Jarrett&Harley Davidson Motorcycles
• Going to School, reading and hanging with his friends(football,baseball,basketball)
• Making people laugh and smile ,living life to its fullest
