Yellowstone National Park
Welcome to the Yellowstone National Park Webpage. Yellowstone National Park is one of the most beautiful and diverse areas on this earth. It is a geological hot spot within a continent, far from plate boundaries. Hot molten magma rises close to the earth's surface here and heats the groundwater and chemicals, which are then forced out of the earth as geysers, hot springs, and fumaroles. Besides these beautiful and amazing natural phenomenon, Yellowstone also contains canyons, countless lakes, rivers, and hundreds of waterfalls. Yellowstone is located in the heart of the Rocky Mountains, astride the Continental Divide in the northwest corner of Wyoming. To learn more about Yellowstone, click any of the images below. Enjoy!
