Painting rocks for garden decorations have become such a big thing the past few years and for those of us that aren't too good at tole painting or just painting period ! I have searched the web for some graphics that would make a nice picture for rocks, these graphics do not belong to me but are free to use I have transloaded and resized them to fit almost any size and style rock you may find laying along the creek banks or wooded areas. Just use your imagination and see what you can come up.
Garden Art has become a fad that everyone loves but it also gets very expensive this is a low cost and fun way to create your own Garden Fairies to set in your garden.

To use these pics 1) Just print from your computer. 2) Cut the design out using scissors or exacto knife. 3) paint the face of the rocks you are using with acrylic spray paint or you have some old paint laying you can brush it onto the rocks.(Make sure the rocks are clean,wash and use a brush to sweep off any dirt you may have left, before painting.) 4) Using ModPodge or heavy glue like Tacky Glue apply the picture to rock make sure all wrinkles are removed,smooth very carefully since the rock surface will be rough and you don't want to tear the picture. 5)Once the glue has dried coat the entire surface with several coats of Clear Varnish or Polyurethane to water proof the pic and protect the paint on the rocks from fading.Let set for a few days to completely dry.
