"Computer's Revenge"

I think that my computer hates me,
I discovered that last night,
When I went to 'SEND' an E-Mail,
And it did not 'SEND' it right.
The computer answered 'SAVED,'
When I hit the key marked 'SEND.'
No, No! I did not want to 'SAVE' it,
So, I entered 'SEND' again.
'SAVED,' said my computer,
No, you're wrong, my friend,
Please don't 'SAVE' a thing for me,
Twice more, I entered 'SEND.'
So my computer 'SAVED' it twice,
I was afraid it would,
Well, I had to break this cycle,
In anyway I could.
So, next I hit the key marked 'SAVE,'
My computer laughed, I swear,
And then it indicated,
It 'SENT' my E-Mail everywhere.
I shook my fist - YOU DUMB COMPUTER!
I began to rant and rave,
Does it not know the difference,
Between a 'SEND' and 'SAVE?'
Imagine my embarrassment,
My discomfort and my shame,
When I learned that each recipient,
Got seven E-Mails all the same.
In truth, the number varied,
One guy teased and had his fun,
He wrote his nose was out of joint,
For he had been shorted one.
And, my C-Drive did 'SAVE' seven, too,
Which, of course, was way too many,
Considering, in the first place,
It was not programmed to 'SAVE' ANY.
My computer's always showing-off,
The things that it can do,
And when it takes off on its own,
It can cause mayhem, too.
But the thing that really got me,
The end result of this event,
Was the basic truth that was expressed,
By the subject matter sent.
"The Last Laugh" was the poem I mailed,
I took pride that it was mine,
But the irony is, I did not get it,
My computer laughed last this time!
