Greetings and welcome to our 2001 African Violet selections. Many thanks to all of you who made 2000 such a great year. If we didn't ship to you in 2000, we hope we will be able to in 2001.

We have a few worthy plants from other commercial growers, but since these plants are readily available from the source, we are concentrating on the "hobby" hybridizers whose plants are sometimes harder to obtain.

Leaves are fresh cut, ends wrapped, then sealed in plastic bags. We ship in oversized boxes and cushion the leaves well. We send more gift leaves than anyone else in the business, usually about 15% of your order. For this reason, we appreciate your sending a substitute list so the gift leaves may be chosen from it. If there are plants on the list you don't wish to receive, please list those for us too.

All leaves are $1.50 each or two of the same variety for $2.50. Minimum order is fifteen varieties or $22.50 plus $6.50 shipping and packing. For more than 15 varieties, please add ten cents ($.10) per variety for extra shipping costs. Please make checks payable to Pat Hancock. Orders are shipped in the order in which they are received. You will receive a post card about one or two weeks before shipping, giving you the exact shipping date so that you my call if it is not a convenient date for you.

We make every possible effort to get the leaves to you in excellent condition. Shipping dates are from May 15th to Oct. 31st or into November, weather permitting. When temperatures are at extremes, we ship in Styrofoam containers inside our regular boxes so that the leaves are not affected by the weather. We prefer prioity mail since UPS has become so expensive.

Service is our specialty. We will enclose, free with your order, upon your request, instructions for wick watering, propagating from leaves and mixing soil.
