Leslie first single "I Need To Hear It From You" is slated for release on June 6th, 2000. Her album, which she finished recording in January and February 2000 is going to be released June 11th. "True", a song on the B Side was written by her brother Nick.

Leslie Carter signed a record deal with Dreamworks Records. She is putting the finishing touches on her as-yet untitled album in Mecca, Orlando, Florida. She has been working with LFO producers Brad Young and Dow Brain. She even got to work with award winning songwriter Diane Warren who has written for Celine Dion, and most recently, N Sync. "This is something I want for myself," says Leslie, "I want to be an entertainer. I want to do it all-singing, dancing, acting. It's all apart of me."

MTV.Com has some news on 13 year old Leslie Carter, who is younger sister of Nick and Aaron Carter. She will be following in her big brother's footsteps recording her debut album due out sometime this year. There are many talented writers and producers who will be taking part on this album, including Backstreet Boys' guitarist Bill Chapin, Brad Young and Dow Brian who worked on LFO's hit single "Summer Girls," as well as Diane Warren, who has written for Celine Dion, Aerosmith, and most recently, N Sync. "I Want To Hear It From You" is Leslie's first single, making it's debut June 6, which is also her 14th birthday.
