Torn, tattered wings
Flutter weakly through the night
They once were so strong and beautiful
Now, they are ragged and ugly
The angel that bares these wings
Once was heavenly and bright
Sadly, things change
This angel is now deranged and dark
An angel of the night, hidden in the shadows
In the night, of darkest black
See the angel fly, see the angel soar
Do not touch this angel's wings, the decrepit wings
Stay far away
Broken, scarred wings
Carry the angel to and fro
Bats cling to these wings
They are the angel's only companions
For no one wants a black angel
They all fear night angels
The angel does not care
There is no reason to be concerned
The angel knows it cannot be changed
In the night, of darkest black
See the angel fly, see the angel soar
Do not touch this angel's wings, the decrepit wings
Stay far away
Thin, ripped wings
These wings rest in the day
The angel flies at night
For eternity, the angel will roam in darkness
Never to see the light of day
With all its colors
The angel is pale, with ebony wings
Nothing will ever change
The angel of night will always be found amongst the shadows
In the night, of darkest black
See the angel fly, see the angel soar
Do not even think of touching this angel's wings, the decrepit wings
Stay far away
Stay safe
