Angie's Orgy Concert Review

orgy in concert August 8th, 1999 it started out me and one of my good friends lucy decided to go to a concert called big stink 4 @ portland meadows in portland Oregon. on the day of the concert i got up at about 8:45 am. then at about 9:30 am i went and picked up lucy with my mom. we got to her house and lucy's mom took some pictures of us before we went to the concert (why she did, i do not know). so we got into the car and drove about 25 miles to portland meadows. when we got there we had to wait in an hour long line just to get into the concert grounds. when we got in we spotted a bunch of booths so we looked around and got some free stickers. at about noon, the concert began. lucy and i found a both where they temporary dyed your hair for free. so we said 'why not?' and went and waited in line. we both got our hair dyed really weird colors and then we went back to the stage area. after a few bands came on and played, we got kinda bored. so lucy and i went by the backstage area and waited for 3 hours trying to get back there cuz i wanted to meet orgy so incredibly bad. while we were waiting lucy and i were talking to some really cool girls who were into orgy too. while we were talking to them , we saw Amir walk by backstage. we all screamed and tried to get his attention but it didnt work. about 15 minutes later we saw Jay walk by and me and this other girl were trying to get his attention and failed yet again. about half an hour before orgy came on stage, me and my friend went up into the crowd and tried to get good places to see. we were about 4 rows from the front (this was at a standing concert.) we waited until about 5:30 when orgy came on. i started screaming like mad. then they burst into song (i forgot which one it was) i was screaming the lyrics to it the whole time while watching orgy's every move. from where i was standing i could see every1 but ryan (he was on the other side of the stage from us) we could see Amir really well and we could see jay and paige pretty good too. once in a while bobby and ryan were pretty visible too. at one point jay told the crowd to flip him off, so of course we all obeyed. jay and amir kept looking over in my direction and it was so totally cool. when orgy preformed pantomime i went wild. it was such a great song live, but dissention was the best. they took a quick break and when all was quiet, i screamed 'i love you jay!' (no i am not a teeny i just wanted attention) the last song they played was blue monday, and by the time they finished playing it, i was so tired from screaming and jumping to the music and also from standing around for 2 hours trying to get backstage. the concert was so incredibly cool, i almost thought it wasn't real. but all in all, i still will always remember how awesome orgy was live.
