Amber's Orgy Concert Review 2

August 11- The show started at 8:00 pm. We (My Sister, Mom, and I) arrived there at 4:00. It was in Santa Ana, at The Galaxy Concert Theatre. We had to pay an extra five dollars for two drinks to be able to enter. I was waiting in line with a friend I met online (Jen, her friend was with her too, Monica). Jen saw Ty Elam (singer of Videodrone) and told me it was him, I thought it was but I wasn't for sure. I was in total shock to believe that it was him. Finally, I started walking to him. My hands were over my mouth (you know the way you act when you're in total shock). I was crying and he put his arms out to give me a hug!!!! He is soooo sweet!!!!! His wife was with him though. We took pictures and his wife is in the background... GRRRRRR. I was in too much of a shock to even ask for him to sign something. He said that he had to go before he was late, and he said he is always late. My Sister (being the weird person she is) hid behind a tree to take pictures of whoever came out of the other side of the building. This guy that said that he taught KORN a few things came over to her and said, "I'm no one famous." My Sister said, "OK." Then later on he told her who he was. She took his picture. He said that if we go to a KORN concert to show that picture to someone that will take it back to KORN and that we could possibly go backstage, so that was/is cool. We were finally let into the theatre. It was like an hour or so before the show actually was to start. We were on the left side of the stage (Mavis/bassist of Videodrone, Rohan/ keyboardist of Videodrone, and Amir's... you all know him hopefully..... side). This band called Hero opened, they were cool. The lead singer is a girl (I think her name is Amy). Everyone was looking up into the corner of the stage (right side). Jay, Ryan, and Paige were up there looking out. They kept on peeking out into the crowd, some others were too. After Hero, Paige kept on going to the side and opening a door (actually a Security Guard was), so he could look out and meet some fans. Poor Monica (she likes Paige a lot), she kept on going over there but each time was too late. The door would be closed. Finally, Videodrone came out!!!!! They were playing the best that I have seen them play!!!!! Mavis was totally going crazy!!!!!! When they first came out Ty started licking the microphone stand..... I have a picture of that :) . His wife was on the side of the stage, behind Rohan. Ty was into the lyrics a lot. He was on the floor like bent over and sitting there, he made a gun with his fingers and put it under his chin, on his temple, and in his mouth, each time shaking his head No. Then he climbed up onto a speaker and jumped down.... A long jump. Mavis was playing really hard, he stuck his tongue out and I got a picture of that. I got a few other pictures too. Dave was acting crazy (like looking strangely at the crowd and smiling). Kris was playing hard, he was sweating a lot... they all were. Rohan was really into his keyboard, he was only concentrating on it, and he had some moves that made me think of Munky (James Shaffer, of KORN). Then their performance ended. A Security Guard gave this girl next to me Videodrone's set list, and she didn't even know Videodrone that much!!!!!! I should have got that list!!!! She wanted thirty bucks for it. :( The crowd chanted for Orgy. The Security said, "You can't take pictures, and if you do your camera will be taken away. So, make sure if you do take pictures, that you have an expensive camera, because We need some." Damn Security Guards!!!!!! They came out and Jay was hiding.... yet again. Into the show Paige had some technical difficulties or something, because he wasn't playing, but the others were. He went to the side of the stage and some guy helped him. He kept on going to the side and he got a cigarette, he smoked it on stage. Amir and Ryan threw some guitar pics into the crowd. Paige threw some of his too. Paige stuck his tongue out at someone. Jay stared out at people. Ryan threw a towel into the crowd. Jay threw water at the crowd. People were throwing objects on stage like bracelets and other items. During "Revival," Jonathan Davis came out and the crowd was screaming even louder. The whole show rocked. After the show, I went outside and waited by our car for my Mom and Sister. Luckily, I went outside and met Kris (drummer of Videodrone)!!!!!!!! He was by our car. He had locked his keys in his car, Poor Kris. He was out there with either his girlfriend or his wife. I had my picture taken with him. I talked to him for a while. Then I had him sign a Videodrone article I had. He was soooooo sweet!!!! Then my Sister and I went to the other side of the building and looked through the fence (it had holes in it). We saw Jon. My sister took a few pictures of him through the fence. Later on, Mavis came out and I saw him through the fence. So, I screamed his name, and I stuck my finger through the hole. He came over to the fence and said, "Who is that?" and I said, "A big fan." So, he came out. I asked for a picture and he said, "Sure." It took a long time for the picture, but finally we took it. The reason why it took so long was because this girl was all over him and hugging him and wouldn't let go. He was just standing there not doing anything. He signed my concert ticket, and my arm too. After we took the picture we started talking and some things that he talked to me about I can't speak of. E mail me if you want to know about them. He kept on asking people for a cigarette and for something to drink. This older lady gave him cigarettes and brought him something to drink. He wanted to sit down, so he asked me to sit next to him on a curb. I did just that. He was soooo sweet!!!!! The same as Ty and Kris!!!!!!! We took one last picture and in it he is kissing my head. I need to find someone to send the pictures to so they can be on a site or something. I don't have a scanner. Mavis told me that Videodrone is making a video for Tyjonathandown and Jon will be in it. Well, Overall, I had a GREAT time that night!!!!!! Videodrone and Orgy kicked ass!!!!!!! Hero was good too. Well, hope this wasn't too boring.
