"Thoughts" by Masta Mic

Welcome to Thoughts. Hi i am (Masta) Mic Gunter and here are my thoughts on some of the artist out there.

Limp Bizkit: Talk about selling out, these guys are a big group of sell outs. Since three dollar bill, y'all thier sound has changed completely to fit with pop acts. Is Fred Durts afraid to scream anymore. They sounded ok when they were all hard and they had thier simi-own thing going on. Whats with having Redman in a song anyway?

Kid Rock: I hate him more than just about any artist out there. He is very phoney, he doesnt have anything unique about him, hes got a big ego (which makes me want to punch him in his face,) he still can't rap worth a monkeys uncle, when he proclaims that he is "American Bad-Ass," you know he isnt because i bet anyone in the brown trucker band could beat his ass. The Uncle Cracker guy wrote most of his hits anyway. Talentless.

Metalica: About every song sounded the same up until load and reloadyou mixed around with sounds a bit and some people said you sold out during those two albums, but i really dont think so. I would get sick playing the same song for four or five strait albums. It was about time. When garage, inc came out, it had a few good songs but making people pay 24$ for that peice of crap albulm was not fair. I think gaining up with an orchestra was a good idea, but remember that led zeppelin and peter frampton did it 20 years before they did, don't call it original, please, don't. With this napster thing lars has gone too far, they now have lost just about any fan with a computer. Think about it lars: just about every american houshold that can afford your cd's can afford a computer and the internet or ethernet. Smart thinking lars, you money greedy bastard, i thought you guys do it for the music, i guess not. People are gonna pass mp3's anyway, it's called e-mail.

Foo Fighterss: I have nothing against Dave Grohl and crew except just about all your songs sound the same, dont turn into egomaniacs like moneytallica and piss off the computer generation.

Smashing Pumpkins: Awww billy corgan all pissy that adore sucked? IT DID! he wrote a song about it calledheavy metal machine on their latest albulm, machina/the machines of god, and which is their last. little bit pissy eh? OK, siamese dream and melon collie were pretty good albulms, but billy, don't you realize that thats what the people wanted when adore came out and it sounds like you wanted to be a pop star instead of a rock star, even on your new almulm. Billy, i think you sold out.

Pearl Jam: these are about one of they few people out there keeping it real and making awesome music. Eddie and the crew did not sell out. I think that yeild was thier best yet and binaural was a nice expantion to the flavor or yeild

KoRn: after KoRn and Life is Peachy, i couldn't wait for their next albulm, Follow the Leader, but what a dissapointment! Can i say one thing about it? SELLOUTS! Talk about trying too hard. Whats up with the rap? C'mon, someone wanted to push the next trend a little bit hard. Thanks alot!! The only act out there with talent is RATM, and they did it five years before Limp, and now crappy bands like P.O.D. are making it big, (on that rock the party song they use beatie boys lyrics.) On Issues they didn't really try hard to be big, even though it was less than a year after FTL and brought out a new sound, even though some of it sounds kinda like Orgy slowed down.

Red Hot Chili Peppers: These guys got their own thing going on. They are more alternative than all the so-called alternative bands that are pathetic and annoying like 3 Doors Down and Vertical Horizon. They have kinda lost the rappy thing that they started with (has anyone ever heard out in l.a.?) And theyre new stuff has a calmer neater vibe going on.

Black Crowes: as said on their greatest hits cd, they are truly the most rock 'n roll rock 'n roll band out there. these guys are anti-sponsons and i respect them for that. they have their own sound and are now rockin' out with jimmy page on tour (which my mom and dad are going to see in oct.) they make awesome music and stick it to somebody if they need it (like rick rubin)
