I heard the sound of angels coming across the distant fields,
I hear them a-calling me away;
Old friends now are gathered outside my mansion door,
I can feel the earth start to crawl away.
So I've made my reservation for my final destination,
I'm changing my location to my mansion in the sky;
Gonna wear me some new clothes bright shiny white robes,
Walk 'round in new shoes getting ready to move.
Ready to move!
The marriage supper is ready they bid me come and dine,
Gonna feast at the table with the King;
Old David's making ready his golden harp to play,
And I can hardly wait to hear those angels sing.
