I'm so happy while I travel on the bright road to gloryland,
And I'm living so my light for Jesus will shine;
I'm rejoicing as I'm singing traveling with an angel band,
There's no sorrow in my life for Jesus is mine.
Shouting and praising voices are raising glory divine,
Going through glory telling the story Jesus is mine;
Headed for heaven sins are forgiven I can't repine,
There is such gladness never more sadness glory light shine.
Singing and shouting never more doubting love so divine,
Marching with a winner holding up a sinner Jesus is mine;
I have been given treasures from Heaven I'll not repine,
Comfort I'm going happy in knowing Jesus is mine.
Someday my labor will be over and I'll reach that happy strand,
Where with my friends and loved ones I on manna will dine;
I will forget my earthly trials and will join in that Heavenly band,
