I'M SO GLAD I'M HERE

Last night in a dream my mother came to me,
And the words she said I never will forget;
She said I miss you dear but I'm so glad I'm here,
Cause I've never seen a place like this as yet.
The breeze is softly blowing and the fragrance is so sweet,
And I spend all my days praising Jesus at His feet;
The gates are pearl the streets are gold just like the stories told,
And the beauty and the splendor is a wonder to behold.
And yes I miss you dear but I'm so glad I'm here.
I've seen all my loved ones, the ones who've gone before,
My sister , my mother and my precious baby girl;
So please don't be concerned God gave His only son,
So that one day you and I could share this world.
Where the waters flow so gently their colors green and blue,
And the rolling fields of flowers and the fresh morning dew;
Where the sun is always shinning and the tree of life is in bloom,
And from the place that He's prepared for me there's such a perfect view.
