There are three series in Dragonball and 153 episodes. Dragonball aired from February 26, 1986- April 19, 1989.
This is about Goku as a kid and he gets sent to Earth to destroy it. He is found by a man named Gohan and gets adopted by him. Goku knocks his head and this causes a "scramble" and makes him more of a loving Saiya-Jin rather than a mean one. Goku looks at the moon and turns into Oozaro, with his rage putting aside his mind "scramble" he kills his adoptive father Gohan and lives on his own after this.
Dragon Ball Z
is the sequel to Dragonball. It has 291 episodes and it aired from April 26, 1989- January 31, 1996.
In this series Goku gets older and marries a wife named Chi-Chi. They have a child named Gohan (Gohan is named after his adoptive grandfather) Goku, Gohan, Krillin, Vegeta, Tien, Yamcha, Piccolo and all the other Z warriors have great adventures throughout the show, including Cell, Buu, Frieza and the Androids.
Dragon Ball GT
is the trilogy to Dragon Ball and was not done by Akira Toriyama, but by other different producers. There are 64 episodes, and it aired from February 7, 1996- November 21, 1997.
In this series it mainly focusses on Pan. I don't know a lot about this but all I know is that it is my least favorite series because it wasn't by the original creator Akira Toriyama. |
