"My Purpose"
The Anointed Pace Sisters come from a family of talented singers, musicians and preachers. The group began singing together inthe local high school talent shows and continued to mesmerize audiences throuout their travels. In the early 70's, they won the "Best Gospel Group" award at the Annual Church of God in Christ Music Convention also known as "UNAC", under the directionof Dr. Mattie Moss Clark. After achieving such headline, the group went on to become a part of the Action Revival Team headed by the Rev. Gene Martin in the mid to late 70's.
In 1992, these nine, lively, fun-filled sisters reached national recognition with their debut alubm on Savoy Records entitled /;U-Know", which rose to the top ten on the Billboard Charts and stayed on the charts for over a year. This album featured inspirational selections such as the title cut, "U-Know", written by Phyllis Pace, "When God Is In The Building" written by John Croslan, and "24-7" written by Lashun Pace. Due to the phenomenal success of this project, The Anointed Pace Sisters have become one of gospels hottest female vocal groups in the world.
One of the group's most outstanding gifts is their ability to blend their individual writing and musical abilities together to create spiritually enriched songs that minister to the masses. They have created a unique balance, which delivers a special harmony of traditional and contemporary gospel music.
Their latest project "My Purpose", recorded "live" in Atlanta, Georgia continues to climb the Billboard Charts. Selections like "Hallelujah Praise The Lord", "His Spirit Is In This Place", and "Hands of God" lead by the incomparable LaShun Pace are sure to rock the world, All the songs on this project are without question some of gospels best collaborations.
