The Hebrew, however, could not reconcile a trinity concept with the monotheistic belief in their One Lord, Yahweh, God of Israel. The followers of Mohammed, likewise, failed to grasp the idea of a threefold manifestation of a single God. They found it difficult to distinguish between the adoration of One God, existing as a triad manifestation, and the polytheistic practice of worshiping three separate gods.

Religion, as faith, gives the awakened human consciousness insight into the nature and reality of the One Source of All, the Absolute. But, science demands a three dimensional explanation for the existence and manifestation of the Absolute. Thus, by combining the views of religion and science, the mind is able to come to terms with the paradox of the Trinity as One.

As human consciousness expands, it begins to perceive the relationship of all that it discovers by means of its material science, intellectual philosophy, and religious intuition. And, these discoveries lead us to a mental and spiritual realization of the Trinity manifestations through which the Absolute indwells Its creation.

The ability of the Absolute to be everywhere at once, simultaneously, constitutes the first of Its three Great Attributes, omnipresence. But, while it is literally true that the Absolute is All and in All, even that is not all of the Absolute. God is immeasurably more than the sum of Its creation. The Absolute is revealed through the manifestation of Its creation, but the entire Universe of Universe cannot contain the whole of the Absolute. The cosmos not only exists in the Absolute, but the Absolute exists within the cosmos, and every creature in the cosmos. You are, therefore, of God and God is within you. There is no place you may go to escape either the Absolute or your own Self, for they are everywhere. You can never fully understand the First Cause of All Things by a material analysis of Its effects alone. The infinite nature of God can only be revealed in the Infinite.

The second Great Attribute of the Absolute, omnipotence, especially as it prevails in the physical world, is the best understood of the three. All energy and manifestations of force are derived from the Absolute, since there is not source outside of the Absolute from which to obtain this energy. Literally, God controls all power and is all powerful. But, the Absolute is not a transient force or fluctuating energy field. The Absolute is far more than the sum total of Its power. It is the Source of All Life and Intelligence, which is actively involved in the unfolding of Its creation. Regardless of appearances, the power of the Absolute does not function in the Universe as a blind force. Your own existence is proof that God is more than a mindless energy.

The third Great Attribute of the Absolute, omniscience, is the hardest of the three for most people to comprehend. But, where could your intellect and consciousness have originated, if not from the Universal Mind of the Absolute? This Cosmic Consciousness is aware of and conversant with the thought of every creature in the whole of Its creation. Every world, of every galaxy in the universe, is constantly held within the omniscient mind of God. The Absolute is the only One in the Universe of Universes who knows the number of stars in the heavens or the shape of every individual snowflake that has ever fallen.

Therefore, take great comfort in the knowledge that the Absolute knows the path you take, has given you the power to reach its end, and will stay with you through every step of the journey.
