TAPPING INTO THE LIGHT

SHALL BE FOUND, ALL THAT IS FOUND
IS WORTH KNOWING.

VISUALIZATION

Another avenue for the guides to meet you is in the vestibule of the third eye, or in other words, through psychic sight. Of course, the method of visualization is for opening the clairvoyant abilities. The use of allowing yourself to visualize something will strengthen the inner eye and the memory recording mechanisms within the brain. When one uses clairvoyant abilities, the images may be fleeting and therefore the more detail that you can remember the more the information will serve you.

When you begin to visualize, the idea is to see in your mind the thing(s) that you have set forth as being what you wish to view. To start to build the connection between your conscious mind and the inner psychic eye, work with known objects first. For instance, try to see with your mind an orange or a rose. Try and see it in detail, taking note of how much easier it gets with practice. See the skin of the orange with all of it's dimples, the stem hole and even the moisture of condensation rolling down the sides. See the rose and all of it's folds of petals. See the texture of the velvety petals, or the thorns on the stem. The more detail that you can work into the image, the better your skill will become with seeing more detailed information when contact is established later on.

The idea behind visualization is to allow your imagination to strengthen. While we do not want to image that we have contacted the guides when we haven't, it is through the same viewing skill that contact with the world of visual communication must be brought. Once you have worked with several known objects and can get a clear mental picture that seems very life like, then is the time to try to expand into the art of allowing images that are not predestined, or known, to flow into your conscious awareness. These are some recommended steps to follow:

A) Get relaxed and into a semi-meditative state of mind.

B) Invite your guides, higher self, angels, to stimulate your inner sight area and give you an image.

C) Allow the images to come as they will. Do not work to analyze them or understand their meanings as they arrive. Commit them to memory only. Work with logging in as much detail as possible.

D) Thank your guides, etc… for these images.

Now is the time to see if you can decipher if there is any covert meanings or messages for you from these images. Scroll back through your memory of the images, pulling out the many details that you can from the glimpses within your memory. Not all images will, of course, be relevant, but the idea is to see and remember what you can. When it is relevant, you will know using the clairsentient aspect of your wisdom.

To further test your visualizing skills work with a friend to see if you can either see something they have done recently, a place that they have been, or any type of information that you know you have not been told. As you work to build your visual skills, the guides may be able to more freely access you through this medium of communication.

Another really good exercise is to work with photos that someone gives to you of people that you do not know, but that they know well enough to verify many personal traits, locations, scars, etc…. Take the photo and place it in your hand and rub the other hand over it. Close your eyes and see what appears on the "tiny movie screen in your head." Write down what appears to you. Verify the information with the friend who gave you the photo. Also remember to use all of your senses, including the sense of smell in all exercises. Information may come from any avenue, so don't close off any of the communication highways. Keep the mind and the senses tuned to what you are experiencing.

LISTENING TO THE "VOICE" OF SPIRIT.

Lastly, let us talk about "hearing" the information from the higher worlds. For lack of a better phrase I often have to say that I "hear" the information that I receive, but this is not at all in an outer auditory sense of the word. The "voice" that I hear is rather a heavier form of thoughts that occur within my mind. It takes much practice to begin to distinguish the difference in these thoughts and your own thoughts. After you have begun to recognize the differences, such as pacing, phraseology, structure, or content, from that of your normal thought processes, it becomes easy to discern the "voice of spirit." You will also probably find, as I did, my own thoughts reacting to the information that is given clairaudiently. It is as if your own mind does a running commentary on the information being supplied to you. During channeling I often hear myself thinking things like: "Cool!" "Wow, that makes sense!" "What the heck do you mean by that?" "Oh my, should I repeat this?" etc…..

However, it is important in becoming a clear channel to work to remain passive and open and not allow your own thoughts to disrupt the flow of information. I find that if I allow my self to think too much about the information being given that it can even cease the contact with the "flow". So a heavy hand must be given to getting your own mind out of the way as far reacting to the information. I do not recommend that one lose all touch with the outer world and the information being given, but rather work only as a secretary of sorts, receiving and then relaying the message to the intended person. Even if that intended person is yourself, gather the information, then digest it with your logical mind. Trying to digest too much during the receiving segment of the process will often lead to finding yourself confused and not accurately following the flow of thought from the other mind. So, GET OUT OF YOUR OWN WAY!! :)

Using a recording device, or as I have learned to do with using a keyboard to type the information as it comes through, is a necessity to ascertaining that you have a permanent record of what was given. Once the tape or the transcript is complete then you may go over the information to analyze it. Analyzing it is only really recommended if the information is meant for you. If the information is for another you will not be able to analyze it for truth and clarity since it may contain phrases referring to things which you are not privy to know. Reading/listening to the information when given for another is only for editing purposes so as to make sure that grammar and punctuation follow acceptable guidelines.

Asking yourself questions about events on television, newspaper stories, actions of others, etc… as to a higher reason that these things have transpired is a good way to see if you are receiving information that is "higher" or different than your own normal thoughts on a subject. It never fails to amaze me what answers I get when I seek the wisdom of spirit on matters that are often beyond my means to understand on a nothing-more-than-human intellectual capacity. "They" often share insights to the wider effect that these events may have on our world, the reason this was brought to my attention at this time, the spiritual effects that the end results will hold. So work with asking and see if the answers are given. Remember, ASK AND YE SHALL RECEIVE.

When asking, listen in the silence of your head for a thought that is clear and ever-flowing. Pay attention also to the inner vision. I often can almost see the words like white letters on a black slate in the front of my closed eyes. When you find the "voice that cries out in the wilderness" of your mind, lock onto it and pay exclusive attention to the flow of the words. Repeat, type, say aloud these words. Let the experience flow without interruption on your part from you own thoughts. Let the words come from deep within your mind, since this is where it feels like they are originated. It is not a shallow light-weight feeling like your own floating thoughts on any given day. It is much more like the thoughts that occur to you in wild moments of inspiration where they cut across whatever it was you may have been thinking about prior to the revelation of a new born idea. It arrives from the depths of the soul-mind and filters through to your consciousness.

As you learn to tune to this wavelength more and more, you may find yourself able to detect subtle variations in the intensity, the emotional nature of the words. Almost as if actually hearing the vocal infliction's of someone on the phone when you can tell that they are excited, depressed, confused. This added ability adds much to the impact of the message. It adds emphasis, humor, laughter, seriousness, and many of the textures of any conversation heard with the ears in the normal physical way.

We have now come to the end of my offering to you on some hints to the wonderful world of channeling. It is a process that one must do to perfect. I can no more teach you how than I can teach you to paint a picture. Yes, I can show you the tools, the differing types of strokes, the essences of the paint used, but it is you who must take what you have been given innately and make this simple knowledge your own masterpiece. Such is the world of channeling. It is a innate gift, it is learnable gift, it is a gift that adds dimension and a form of beauty to many lives, but it is a gift that varies from one individual to another. So worry not about your gifts, they are yours for the finding. Worry not about the pace at which you grow in your skills. The seeking will lend results. Keep the mind open, the perseverance strong, and the joy of discovery before you, and all things shall be added unto you.
