The ability to build and customize the boats found in Virtual is one of the things that attracted me and I assume that it's that ability attracted you as well or else you probably wouldn't be here. The production of new boats and scenery's is the lifeblood of Virtual Sailor. It allows for continued growth and development as well as provides that spark of inspiration that sailing aficionados like myself need to thrive. Below you will find in-production images of the newest and perhaps most exciting boats to come. Anybody with a project in mind or production has a home here for their works. If you have anything going or intend to soon please post a letter in the design forum entitled, "New boat" or something to that effect and tell me a little bit about it. Please include your e-mail and I will write you as soon as possible to learn about your idea and to get any images you may have. If an image is provided, click on it to few it full sized. As always, click here to return to the club or here to return to the boatyard.

New Boats!

Australia II (a.k.a. KA-6)

"The Australia II is one of the most famous yachts in history. Though a perfect combination of technological innovations and good solid sailors controlling her, she managed to demolish the longest winning streak in sporting history. The images I provided show her near completion."

Spray

"Joshua Slocum and his adventures aboard the Spray are legendary. After an extensive rebuilding Slocum took his mighty little ship around the world, a first for a recreational boat. In fact, it can be argued that Slocum is the father of modern blue water cruising. This will be my masterpiece with extensive detailing both above and below decks (though I am afraid quite a bit of it will be underwater)."
