You betrayed me as I lay

You pushed me down on to the ground

All while turning me into a clown

All while my cloths lay around

I am afraid because

I should have drowned in my own tears

But instead I am drinking beers

All to drowned my fears

I must rely on others

Many that belong to this earth are mothers

All the while I'm thinking why?

I am thinking how will I last on these shores

While sitting on sinking sand

Thinking is there more or is this just a bore

I am afraid because

We are all shouting with a voice

As if we have a choice

I am so very afraid to be brave
