The Heart of a Big Guy

By Ross Forman

Nashville, Tenn. - Dillon, a physically challenged 8-year-old, attended SuperBrawl Revenge with his family, including his brother Dakota. They drove more than an hour to watch the annual pay-per-view in person and meet Dillon's hero, Kevin Nash. The exclusive visit was made possible through Big Sexy's official Web site (www.kevinbigsexynash.com).

But Nash didn't want to just meet the youngster, say a few words of encouragement, sign an autograph or two and pose for pictures. Nash wanted to make sure the meeting was extra special.

When I mentioned Dillon to him during lunch, Nash immediately wanted to make sure there was a private area to hang out with the youngster and that there would be enough time to talk. After an initial backstage meeting with Dillon, Nash asked, "So, where can we go and hang out?" Nash, Dillon and his family sat together in the backstage catering area, away from the backstage madness -- with Nash completely focused on the youngster and his family.

Nash signed photos for Dillon and Dakota and gave each a T-shirt and calendar. Although Nash might be gone from WCW forever, his legacy lives on through his generous and benevolent actions. Dillon also met Jeff Jarrett, Mike Sanders and other WCW superstars.
