No Mercy kicked off with the WCW World Tag Team Championship match, as the Hardy Boyz, with Lita, took on Hurricane Helms & Lance Storm, with Mighty Molly and Ivory. Jeff and Hurricane started the bout, with Helms hitting a snapmare and shoulderblock. Hurricane posed after a hiptoss, allowing Jeff to hit one of his own and tag Matt for a double team suplex. Lance Storm got a blind tag for the fireman's carry into neckbreaker double team spot. Hurricane wanted to tag back in, and made Storm do it "Wondertwins" style. Jeff tagged back in, and cleaned house on both men, until Ivory hooked his leg, and Storm shoved him to the floor. Storm held Jeff on the outside, but Matt stopped Hurricane from diving on him, and Matt then hit a baseball slide on Storm. With the Hardyz and Storm on the outside, Molly put the cape on Hurricane, who dove off the top rope onto all three men. Back in the ring, Hurricane punched Jeff on the mat, and tagged in Storm, who hit a dropkick for a two count. Storm continued to work over Jeff, then tagged in Helms for a vertical suplex/side slam combo. Helms hit a backbreaker for a two count. Molly reached in and slapped Jeff. Storm and Hurricane continued to Keep Jeff under control, until Storm whipped him into the corner and Jeff came back with the Whisper in the Wind. Jeff finally hit a mule kick on Helms and tagged in Matt. Matt cleaned house on both men, and got a two count on Helms with a neckbreaker, which Storm broke up. Jeff came in and they hit Poetry in Motion on Storm, but missed on Helms, who rolled up Matt for a two count. The Hardys came back, with Matt hitting a second rope legdrop on Hurricane for two. Hurricane and Storm hit a double superkick on Matt, but Jeff broke it up. Molly ran in, but Lita speared her. Ivory came in and tossed Lita to the floor. Jeff grabbed Ivory and gave her a legdrop to the groin. Storm grabbed Jeff for a Mapleleaf, but Lita gave Storm a top rope rana. Matt then hit the Twist of Fate on Hurricane, and Jeff followed with the Swanton Bomb. Jeff got the pin, and the Hardys retain the titles. A good opener that the crowd was into. They managed to get everyone involved in the finishing sequences, which was nice.

Kanyon & Hugh Morrus vs. The Hardys - WCW Tag Title Match
Jeff and Kanyon start out, with Kanyon calling out Matt. Jeff, happy to oblige, tags in his brother. Kanyon pushes him around a bit and then starts pounding away on him. Headlock by Kanyon, but matt hits a hiptoss and a facebuster. Back elbow by Kanyon, then a big boot that sends Matt down. Kanyon goes second rope, mocks Matt, and leaps for the legdrop, but gets nothing. Matt slams Kanyon's head into the turnbuckle and hits a Russian legsweep 1-2-kickout. Tag to Jeff. Both Hardys kick away on Kanyon. Head scissors by Jeff, then a dropkick. Kanyon rakes the eyes and tags in Hugh. Jeff kicks him, but gets powerslammed 1-2-kickout. Morrus gets a back elbow from Jeff, and then flies outside. They run around the ring and Jeff tags in Matt without Hugh seeing. Matt attacks form behind and they hit the Poetry in Motion. Clothesline by Matt, who goes second rope for the leg drop. Matt attacks the enterring Kanyon, going for the Twist of Fate, but Kanyon tosses him to Morrus, who flapjacks him hard. Clothesline by Morrus 1-2-kickout. Suplex by Morrus 1-2-shoulder up. Scoop slam by Morrus, who goes up top very slowly. He leaps for the No Laughing Matter, but Matt rolls and Morrus eats ringmat. Tag to Jeff and Kanyon. Jeff with forearms every which way, then a jawbreaker to Kanoyn. Double leg drop to Kanyon's lower regions. Jeff goes up top, but Morrus 'buckles him. Kanyon hits a Fisherman's Superplex 1-2-broken by Matt. They look for Poetry in Motion on Kanyon, but Morrus holds Jeff back in the corner. Kanyon rolls up the kneeling Matt 1-2-shoulder up. On the outside, Lita and Jeff take care of Morrus, while in the ring, Matt hits the Twist of Fate on Kanyon. Jeff comes in right on cue and nails the Swanton Bomb 1-2-3!---Credit: RajahWWF.com

Credible cowardly runs to the corner. Matt goes after him and Credible puts his shoulder. Matt falls back. Credible goes up to the second rope and mimics Matt’s yell. Credible hops down but Matt punches him in the gut. Matt covers for one. Matt throws Credible back into the corner. Matt slams Credible down. Matt tags Jeff in. They double team Credible. Both kick Credible in the gut. Credible throws Jeff into the corner. Jeff jumps over Credible and gives him a drop kick to the back. Raven tags in. Jeff knocks Raven and gives him a leg drop between his legs. Jeff knocks Raven out of the ring. Credible runs in and Jeff throws him over the top rope. Matt comes in and Jeff uses him as leverage to jump over the top rope to knock Credible and Raven to the ground. Raven starts walking after Lita. Lita jumps into the ring. Terrie is up on the top rope. She jumps down on top of Lita. Credible and Raven give Jeff a side suplex into the barrier. Raven gives Jeff another. Jeff and Credible are back in the ring. Credible tags raven. Jeff kicks Raven in the head. Matt tags in. Credible runs in and matt gives him a neck breaker. Matt starts attacking Raven. Matt gives Raven a body slam. Raven counters the Twist of Fate. He throws Mat into the ropes into Credible’s knee. Terrie gets the ref’s attention. Lita goes up to the top rope and gives Raven a huricanranna. Terrie runs in and tires to give Lita the Twist of Fate. Lita quickly reverses. She and Matt do a stereo Twist of Fate (Lita : Terrie; Matt : Raven). Matt and Jeff are able to hit Test with a double suplex but then Test with a hard knockdown to Matt. Booker with a cheap shot to Matt from the apron and then Test with the tilt-a-whirl slam. Test tags in Booker and then Booker with a knee drop for a 2 count. Booker tags Test back in and Test boots Matt down in the corner. Matt with a reverse elbow but Test sets Matt up on the top rope. Matt hits Test with a DDT from the top rope and both men make tags. Jeff is in and knocks down Booker with right hands. Jeff with his double leg low blow to Booker. Jeff with the cover but Test breaks the count. Booker hits Jeff with the Book-End but Lita interferes and hits Booker with a Hurricanrana. Matt hits Booker with the Twist of Fate but Test knocks down Matt with a clothesline. Test then goes for the Big Boot on Matt but Lita holds his leg. Test heads outside to go after Lita and the referee follows him. Test knocks down the ref and then harshly tosses Lita over the barricade. Matt goes outside to deal with Test as Jeff and Booker are getting up in the ring. The Undertaker then heads down to the ring and comes up behind Booker. Taker hits Booker with the Last Ride! Hardy Boyz w/Lita vs. Chuck Palumbo & Chris Kanyon--- Huge pop for the Hardyz as they make there return to WWF Metal. Kelly contiuned to hype WWF Rebellion through this match as he has through the whole show. Chuck and Matt start this one off. Chcuk nails Jeff off the canvas to the outside. Chuck escapes Matt to the outside but gets caught by Jeff, Chuck tossed back in and gets caught in a pinfall by Matt which gets a two count. Kanyon not wanting to tag in Palumbo. Otherside Matt tags in Jeff, Jeff catches Chuck with a roll up and gets a two count. Chuck coming back and nails Jeff then tags in Kanyon, Jeff coming back with stiff kicks to Kanyon, Jeff reverses the irish whip and sends Kanyon to the corner. Kanyon catches Jeff with an elbow coming in. Kanyon to the outside and stalks Lita. Matt nails Kanyon, Jeff comes flying off the canvas thanks to a push by Palumbo. Jeff tossed back in, Kanyon makes the tag to Palumbo. Chuck with stiff kicks in the corner to Jeff. Jeff reverses it, Chuck does once more and hits an over head throw to Jeff then floats over for the cover, Jeff kicks out on two. Kanyon tagged in, Jeff now working on Kanyon in the corner, Kanyon coming out with a huge powerbomb which gets another two count on Jeff. Headlock by Kanyon, Jeff fighting out of it. Both men go down centre ring after a mid ring collision. Tag either side, Matt and Chuck exchanging rights and lefts, Matt brings in Kanyon. Kanyon and Jeff going at it, poetry in motion by Jeff to both Chuck and Kanyon. Matt with a big clothesline to Chuck, Matt with a twist of fate attempt, Chuck breaks it. Kanyon heading up the ramp, Matt chases him up the ramp and nails him. Back in the ring Lita goes up top and hits an awesome cross body to Chuck Palumbo. Matt then returns to the ring, at the same time JKeff is going up top. Matt hits the twist of fate to Chuck. Jeff then executes the Swanton Bomb from the top rope, a float over for the cover, the referee makes the three count as Kanyon witnesses all the carnage from the top of the ramp.--- Winners : Hardy Boyz via pinfall

She ducks their clothesline. Matt, Lita, and Jeff give Storm and Kanyon a three way clothesline. Everyone is in the ring besides Ivory. Matt gives Kanyon the Twist of Fate. Hardy Boyz & Lita vs. Hurricane/Lance Storm & Ivory--- Probably the most reaction out of the crowd came in this match. Fans went nuts with the "Lita" chants throughout the entire bout. Lita hit all her high spots as did Matt and Jeff Hardy. At one point in the match Lance Storm, on the outside, jumped off the bottom rope to grab Jeff's hair and pull him down. Instead, Storm went in the ring tumbling over. Lot's of "You F'D Up" chants came from that mistake. Hurricane misses an elbow drop on Spike. Spike with an atomic drop followed up by a clothesline on Hurricane. Storm and Hurricane hit a double neckbreaker on Spike. Eighth Match: The Hurricane and Lance Storm vs. The Dudley Boys vs. The Big Show and Spike Dudley vs. The Hardy Boyz
The Hardy Boyz were over big time. But, so were The Dudley Boys. However, in a surprise to me personally (even though I read reports about this in other house show reports) The Big Show was over BIG TIME. This was a very entertaining and good match. There was a spot in the match where all the wrestlers were on the outside of the ring except for Spike Dudley and The Big Show. The Big Show guerilla-press slammed Spike Dudley onto the other wrestlers on the outside of the ring. It was really cool to see in person. The order of elimination was: The Big Show chokeslammed Lance Storm to eliminate Lance Storm and The Hurricane. Matt Hardy hit The Twist of Fate on Spike Dudley to eliminate The Big Show and Spike Dudley. It was then down to The Dudley Boys vs. The Hardy Boyz. These four guys put on an excellent match. In the end, Jeff hit the Swanton Bomb on D'Von Dudley and went for the pin. However, the ref. was trying to get Matt Hardy out of the ring. At this point, Bubba ran into the ring and nailed Jeff with one of the tag titles. D'Von pinned Jeff.

Hardcore Championship: Rob Van Dam vs. Jeff Hardy--- Jeff sets RVD on the table and then sets up the ladder. Jeff climbs up the ladder and goes for the Swanton Bomb on RVD 20 feet below him. RVD moves off the table and Jeff falls 20 feet and through the table. The EMTs rush out and help Jeff Hardy. RVD helps the EMTs by clearing the broken table out of the way so the EMTs can get to Jeff. RVD had worked on Jeff's back all match and the Swanton Bomb 20 feet through the table would have stressed even more pain on the lower back. The EMTs help Jeff to the back.--- Winner: No-Contest

Diamond Dallas Page, WCW United States Champion Kanyon vs. WWF's The Hardy Boyz & Edge & Christian. This match started out with the entire gym chanting for a 5 second pose which got DDP and Kanyon in full heal mode. They got on the stick and said if there was a 5 second pose they would leave. They started walking out as the crowd chanted even louder. Edge got on the mic and said, "Even though a 5 second pose would be totally awesome right now, he would much rather kick these guy's asses." The match started out with Matt and Kanyon going back and forth, then once DDP was tagged in he ran over and tagged Edge thus forcing Edge and Matt to wrestle. The match stopped and The Hardy's told them that they (DDP and Kanyon) sucked and if they didn't want to wrestle to get the hell out. DDP and Kanyon each got chairs out of the audience and sat ringside. E and C and The Hardys continued the match. DDP and Kanyon eventually rejoined the match. After a lot of double-teaming by all three teams, DDP got aggrevated and gave a solid Diamond Cutter to the ref. After some double-teaming by all three teams while the ref was out, Matt Hardy pinned Kanyon and Edge pinned DDP at the same time, the ref then came around and counted the 3. DDP and Kanyon left while the Hardy's and E and C and Lita treated us to a major 5 second pose. Both teams also thanked each other for the great TLC matches that helped put both teams on the map.
