Run Away! Run Away!
It was the "final show at the shoe," June 5-6, 1998. The Division III High School State Track Meet. The team was filled with nervous excitement, and after nearly dropping the baton half way through, they pulled away, and claimed victory. The VHS 4 X 800 relay team became state champions. Congratulations!
