Friend of the Month

Friendship is something that is very important. The trust, motivation, and caring that it promotes is vital to life. This page is a tribute to my friends. I am going to try to update this page every month. Please check back here, maybe it will be you!

APRIL 2000

This month I have decided to display a different kind of friend on my webpage. I was recently home over spring break and was looking through some old photo albums, and realized how much of a "friend" my dad has always been to me. So this month I have chosen my dad as my friend of the month.





I have always been dad's "Buddy" since as far back as I can remember. Although I don't plan on taking over the farm at this point in my life, I was always eager and willing to help on the farm as a kid.


It seems that no matter where or what time, my dad has always had a "shoulder" there for me. From helping me out with projects, in sports, and always providing an encouraging word no matter what the situation I was in.

Even now being away from home, my dad is as supportive as ever. I am very fortunate to have been blessed with such a wonderful, dedicated person as a father.

Here's to my dad....a hug and a thank you for everything.
