Kris was finally released from the hospital and went home with Zac and his parents. Zac and Kris were watchign tv when Rach and Ike walked in. "Hey guys..." Rach said smiling.
"Hey Rach...." Kris smiled back. Rach thought this was the best Kris had looked since she met her. Rach sat beside Kris and played with her hair.
"Kris..... I was thinking and you do know that unless someone takes you into their home, that you will be awarded to the state...." Kris looked at her in shock.
"I haven't thought about that... what am I going to do?!"
"Don't get all worked up. I have talked to my parents and they agreed if it is okay with you, you can move in with us. We have the room, and I'd love to have a sister."
"Are you for real?! You'd take me?!"
"Yes! In a heart beat!"
"I'll do it!!!!" Kris hugged Rach and laughed. Ike looked at Zac and smiled, knowing Rach wanted a sister, and since she couldn't have her real one she'd gladly help one who needed her.

Everyone helped Kris get settled into her new room. She had Ashley's old room, but no one said anything about it. Kris knew it was Ashley's and gladly took it, maybe this way she could be close to her friend again. She was home... and some where so was Ashley.
