As he placed that innocent kiss on her lips for what seemed like an eternity in heaven for him, was truely not for her. She pulled away and looked at him in shock. "I'm sorry...." he looked down ashamed. She looked at him, so many emotions running through her; anger, shock, worry, but at the same time pleasure......
"Ike...." she touched his shoulder softly. He jerked away.
"Please.... leave me alone..." he cried silently. She looked down and slowly made her way out of the tree house..... only to see Taylor walking out of the house.
"Hey Rach!" he smiled and hugged her.
"Hey...." she fakely smiled.
"Where's Ike?"
"Oh... he's in the tree house."
"Ok...." Tay knew by the look on her face that Ike wanted to be alone. He slid his arm around her waist and they walked inside.
"Rach, our parents are ready for us to go home and unpack our things.." Tia informed Rach as the two entered the house. She nodded and kissed Tay good-bye, then left with Tia. "It's so pretty outside today!" Tia exclaimed.
"Yea..." Rach sighed. Tia's radar picked up and sensed something was wrong.
"Rach, what is it?"
"Isaac.....kissed me... I mean no tongue or anything but on the lips.." Rach said look at Tia for advice.
"Did you like it? I mean was it that feeling?"
"What feeling?" Rach asked confused.
"Ya know... that, can't eat, can't sleep, reach for the stars, over the fence, world series kinda stuff..." Tia said dreamily thinking of Zac.
"Um.... no. But I felt something there, like more than friendship but nothing strong enough to make a relationship or anything." Tia smiled at Rach.
"Maybe he's meant to be your like best friend....well besides me that is. " They both laughed. "Bit I mean maybe he will always be there to catch your fall." she said looking at Rach as they approached their houses.
"Maybe your right.....Thanks Tia!" she hugger her.
"Anytime babe!" they smiled and went their separate ways. Rach went straight to her room and unpacked her things quickly while listing to Aerosmith, "Big Ones" CD. She finished and laid down on her blue comforter as "Amazing" came on. "Isn't it amazing..... with the blink of an eye you finally see the light...."
Tay walked down the dark street, he knew Rach would be tired, but he just had to see her. He knocked on the door and her mom answered. "Hey Taylor, Rachelle is in her room upstairs.... you'll hear her music playing when get there." He laughed and made his way to her room.
