Chapter 2
"OMy..." was all she could say. She never really paid attention to who she was saving, or his brothers. All she could think about was helping him. She slowly sat down in the rocking chair on the porch. All the thoughts that ran through her head were unbearable. She could not believe she saved this kids life, Zac Hanson......
"Um....Hi" Ike spoke up as always. Tay examined her with his eyes. Looking over every curve in her body, every muscle. He looked in her eyes carefully. Tay always thought that the eyes were the most powerful part on the human body. He quickly distracted himself so he'd stop looking at her, he just couldn't believe that she saved his little brother. He couldn't even believe his brother almost died.
Zac was very quiet and in awe as he stared at this mysterious girl who saved his life. Ike didn't know what to think, he was so happy that she saved Zac, but confused on why she left like she did.
"So I guess your wondering on whats going on, huh?" Ike once again spoke.
"Yea..." she spoke softly and calmly, which was unexpected to them.
"Well you saved Zac, our little brother, from drowning." Tay said.
" Yea then you left without saying a word..." Ike added. Rach just sat there shyly for a second and then she spoke up finally.
"Yea I guess I'm found of the lil' guy too" he stood up and walked to her extending his hand.
"Thanks...thanks for saving my lil bro" She took his hand and shook it not knowing if that's what he intended on it to be. He pulled her up and hugged her soon followed by Ike and Zac.
Zac hugged her for a long time then looked at her with a tear in his eye. "Thank you for saving me" Rach felt helpless as she slowly brushed his tear away. She softly smiled and hugged him gently. Zac didn't want to let go of her, to him she was like his guardian angel.
"Well I better be goin, I promised Tia and Katelin I'd go to the pool with them." she said as she slowly pulled away from Zac's embrace. "I'll see you later....Bye..." she walked inside and sat on the couch next to Katelin. She looked at her then at Tia. "O my stars" was all she could say. Tia busted out into a fit of laughter.
"Girl maybe next time you'll pay more attention to who you jump in the water after to save." Tia laughed. Rach threw a pillow at her.
"Lets go if we're goin!" she said as she got up. Rach, Tia and Katelin all got up and grabbed their bags and went to the pool down the street. Katelin and Tia took off their short and shirts and jumped into the pool. Tia wearing her lime green and yellow bikini and Katelin in her orange and yellow bikini. Rach took her shorts off and her tank top. She had on her blue bikini with a bright yellow outline. She laid in the chair provided and pulled her hair into a pony tail, then laid down to work on her tan.
Zac, Tay, and Ike all sat up in their room watching TV. "Hey guys, I'm going out for a while ok?" Tay said.
"Ok" Zac and Ike replied still interested in the TV show. Tay sighed and walked out of the house. He remembered that Rach was going to the pool, so he started walking to the pool. He spotted her and slowly approached her. He sat in the chair next to the one she was laying in. At first he just stared at her, she had her eyes closed and she was laying out in the sun. He let his eyes wonder over every curve in her body. He was taken away by how beautiful she was.
"Hello?" he heard her speak.
"Oh, sorry.... I was just kinda wondering if you wanna do something tonight? Maybe meet my family or something...." Tay really wanted to get to know her better, somehow he felt he should be with her... kinda like the "love at first sight" deal.
"Uh....." she thought about it for a second, "sure why not?!" She sat up and looked at him. "what time?"
"When are you free?"
"Well.... at every moment of the day." she laughed.
"How bout now?!" Tay stood up.
"um...sure..." she stood up, she was a little shorter than him, but he didn't mind. He wanted so bad to hold her in his arms but fought himself not to. "Hey Tia! Katelin! I'm goin out I'll be back later tonight!" Tia and Katelin both nodded and continued talking to the guys they were occupied with. Rach slipped her shorts and tank top on and looked at Tay.
"Ready?" he asked. She nodded and they began to walk to his beach house. It wasn't very far from hers, really almost next door to hers. They walked in and he introduced her to his parents and other siblings, then went up to his room, where they found Zac and Ike still glued to the TV.
"Gee....you got over the drowning thing quick." she laughed. Zac looked up and beamed, he jumped up and hugged her tightly.
"I love you man!!" he laughed and looked at her. She was almost as tall as him and he admired her so much. She smiled and rubbed his head. Ike greeted her and then looked at Tay.
"Hey Zac wanna go get a pizza?" Ike asked knowing Tay would want to be alone.
"Its Tay..." he smiled and touched her face softly. "Your so beautiful..." he saw her blush and smile. "I don't know what it is about you but it draws me so close." she took his hand from her face and held it in her hand.
"Look..Tayl...Tay. Your probably still in shock about this whole drowning deal....you don't owe me anything.... so maybe I should just go." she stood up getting ready to leave. He quickly stood up and grabbed her arm lightly, he didn't want her to leave.
"No, please stay...I don't even know your name yet...."
"Rachelle....you can call me Rach though..."
"Rach..." he smiled in awe. She agreed to stay and they sat and talked about their life's for the longest time. He told her how he felt so close to her and how he didn't want her to just vanish from him. She just smiled and nodded as he spoke, she stared in his eyes for teh longest time, he knew she thought the same as him, that the human eyes were powerful.
It was getting dark and he asked if she wanted to go down to the beach for a night swim. "Sure..." she replied and stood up. He told her she could leave her shorts and shirt in his room and they would grab some towels. So she took off her shorts and tank top and grabbed a towel and he walked out of the bathroom in his green swimming trunks. He put his arm around ehr and they walked down to the beach. They stared at the water for a long time, then they got in it. He wraped his arms around her waist and they played around for a while.
"I'm glad mom said we should come here...." he tucked a strain of her hair behind her ear.
"I'm glad you came too....." she smiled. He couldn't help it anymore, he was falling for her so bad. He leaned in and gave her a soft kiss on the lips. Not exspecting her to respond he started to pull away, she then pulled him closer and kissed him. He slid his tounge into her mouth and they kissed and held eachother.
They then wraped their towels around themselfs and walked back to Taylors beach house. They went around back and laid in the hammock together. Both of them gazing at the stars. "Look..." Tay pointed. "thats Gemini...." she looked at the star he was pointing at and smiled. He held her close and she leaned her head against his chest....soon they both drifted off into a sleep, that neither wanted to awaken from.
