At the funeral Rachelle was awfully quiet. Taylor sat beside her and her father on the other side with Katelin. Tia, Zac, and Isaac sat behind her. Tay looked at her she wasn't crying or anything, she just stared at the caskette. He sighed and took her hand in his, he sqeezed it lightly and she just sat there and stared. Her hand was limp in his and she was so quiet and motinless.
After the funeral Rachelle rode home with Isaac, Taylor, Zac, and Tia. "Rach..." Tay whispered in her ear. "Are you okay?" he asked?
"I'm fine..." she sighed. He looked at her and sighed then looked out the window.
When they got to Tay's house, Rach desided she wanted to go home, she softly kissed Tay good-bye and left. She walked into her house house and made her way to her room, passsing her dad who had a beer in his hand. She went in her room and laid on her bed, and stared at the celling.
Tia walked down the street to her house later that night, she heard something behind her. She turned around, nothing was there, so she picked up her pace and heard the noise again. Suddenly something grabed her and she screamed.
"Geez Tia... its just me!" Zac laughed. Tia turned around and smacked him.
"Don't do that to me!!" she said and took his hand and walked to her house with him.
Tay sat in his room with Ike and looked out the window. "Ike... do you think Rach is gonna be okay?" he asked.
"I dunno.." Ike sighed. "I hope so... she probably will though, she is a strong person. She has gotten through things like this before...." Ike said convincing Tay and himself that Rach would get through this.
Rach stared at the celling for a long time, she heard a soft knock on her door. "come in..." she said meekly. Katelin peeked her head in the room, then walked in.
"You okay?" she asked softly, and sat on the bed beside Rach.
"I guess...." Rach said unsure herself. Katelin sighed, she knew how it felt to loose a mother, she didn't wish the feeling upon anyone.
"I know how you feel...." Katie offered. Rach looked at her, knowing she couldn't argue with her about it, cause infact she did know. Katelin read her face like a book. "Come here..." Katie took her in her arms and hugged her, and finally Rachelle cried.
"I'm sorry Katie..." she cried.
"No... I'm sorry." Katelin said holding her in her arms sharing their feelings again.... finally they could be sisters again.
