Rockers Trick or Treat This Halloween

"Anyone who sees us live or hangs out with us knows that we're just a bunch of crazy bunch of lucky punks, that somehow convinced somebody to sign us and put out our record," said lead singer Butch Walker of Marvelous 3 in the band's biography. Those words illustrate how it is to see this band perform live.

Accompanied by bassist Jayce Fincher and drummer Slug, Walker entertained the band by singing songs from their latest record Ready Sex Go with hits such as "Sugarbuzz" and "Grant Park." Throughout the song, a few members of the audience began to throw empty plastic water bottles at the band. "If you dont stop throwing bottles I will kick that person's ass," Walker said in between songs. "You think I can't do that?" he said as he laughed and continued his performance.

Joined by his band mates, Walker began to talk about Britney Spears and how she got to be so successful. In his view, it was due to many...let's say....sexual favors she paid people. Along with his bandmates who stood behind him, the band followed to do a very good impression of Spears' "Ooops I did it again" where they sang and danced to almost the entire song. It was one of the funniest moments of their set.

Walker took over the stage as he moved from side to side and even climbed one of the light poles as he sang the words to his songs. He is one energetic character, carrying a certain charisma of a little kid who just can't sit still. The band also covered the 80s tune "Always Something There To Remind Me" by Naked Eyes. Ending with the song that made the band break through "Freak of the Week," the band stepped off stage leaving everyone with a smile on their face. This band definitely was capable of lifting the spirits of the crowd and just be able to share a chuckle with the fans that had come to see them. It was definately a very amusing and entertaining performance.
